DrBinder

Nga is pronounced like the NG out of "ing" with an a at the end. (Nga[h]). Kawrr sounds like "kaurr," with the r trilled strongly (that means you roll them).

For more help on pronunciation, check out the phonetics section here: http://www.learnnavi.org/navi-phonetics/

how did they do it?

Repetition, repetition.  ;)

You'll get used to it through practice... but only if you're dedicated enough to the language.

"Fì'u keye'ung lu!"
"Keye'ung? FÌTSENG. LU. SPA'TAAAAAAA!!!"

Hmm, I was going to post links to me speaking those words but I don't seem to have them done yet, silly me. In any case, you might be interested in this:

also, check out frommer's message to us if you haven't. He goes really fast but it's good to hear a whole bunch of it spoken at once.
