I suggest downloading a copy of Na'vi in a Nutshell and Taronyu's dictionary. They can both be found in the "Useful Documents" sticky thread above.

You may also want to download the crashcourse in linguistic terminology depending on how much linguistics theory and words you know.

Then, read NiaN (Na'vi in a Nutshell), possibly run through the activity book and post sentences up here so we can show you any mistakes you make and explain how not to make them again.

Also, take a look at project ngaynume (a bit lower down on this forum), they aim to teach the language by association with concepts not translations.

I am a Karyuä Srungsiyu (Teacher's Assistant). If you'd like to join Project NgayNume, I'd gladly tell Tirea (The founder of the project.), if you're interested.

You could send it like a list:

1. Place suitably oiled hand at base of person's spine.
2. Move hand upwards in a rotary motion ...

HRH  ;D
