For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If anyone will not work, neither let him eat."

When we-3 were just with y'all, (we) were sending this message: if someone does not aim to work, then do not allow him/her to eat.

I'm checking myself into an ER for Subjunctive Overdose!  :o

I get:

when we were with you, sending this message which doesn't intend to work if some person then as for self doesn't allow to eat.

Why did you say send this message instead of demand? isnt that closer to command?

sure why not. if there is a clear objection then no ;D afaik, fngo' doesnt have a negative connotation
