The difference is that the second example contains the laudative infix <ei>. You used *<ey> in your quote above, which is not a legal infix.
The laudative infix is used when the topic being discussed is pleasant to the SPEAKER, not the subject of the sentence. Use Sunu for something pleasing to the subject. There is also the perjorative infix <äng>, which is used to indicate something displeasurable to the speaker. Both of these infixes (plus a select few others, such as <uy> and <ats>) go in the second infix position of the word, usually before the second vowel. Make sure you check the dictionary if you are unsure where an infix should go. There are a fair number of irregularly-infixed words, especially compounds.
