Is this Prologue Enticing?

I find the story has a ton of potential but agree with most of the criticisms. I kept a copy of my books intro when I wrote it originally specifically so I could compare it to what I wrote a few years later. Writing evolves as you do. I had help from other writers in forming my writing style. It can be hard to stay optimistic and keep on chugging but one thing I can promise you is that you'll never know if you don't try. Bottom line:
