Does the translation needs so much time? :-\

That great, Eichhörnchen!
I can read German, but if you translate it to the English, I would be interested. To be honest: I'm not good reader in English, as I'm using more technical/IT English than standard/prosaic one. Many years ago I tried to read Call of the wild, but I gave up after looking up every third word in dictionary. Now we have computer dictionaries, so better success can be expected. Also, reading some simpler work could be easier. So inform us, if English version is available :)

Yes, it does, trust me. I once rewrote (not translated) 2 chapters of one of my books from English to German. 8 pages A4 took me a week.
Translating a book is a lot of work, and you don't simply translate the words.
"I gave it some thought as to how to proceed."
"Ich gabe es einige Gedanke als zu wie zu weitermachen."

So stimmt's nicht ganz, oder?
Krr a lì'fya lam sraw, may' frivìp utralit.

Nein, nicht ganz. ;)
(Provided, I understood this sentence correctly.)
"I gave it some thought as to how to proceed."
"Es gab einige Gedanken, wie ich es fortführen soll."

„Ich machte mir Gedanken darüber, wie …“ or
„Ich dachte darüber nach, wie …“

;)
