I am reading The Last Page, by Anthony Huso

Steampunk and Magic (holomorphy as it is called in the book). A very good read for people who like the genre combination. :)

His Dark Materials trilogy.

Wasn't that made into a movie?

I don't know if they did the 2nd and 3rd books or if they mixed them all into one movie, but they did make "The Golden Compass". I'm not a Nichole Kidman fan and I don't think I'll ever actually see the movie.

My dad and brother went to see it. They said it was okay. I didn't want to read the books because the author seemed like a jerk.

Spent three hours or so last night digging through boxes of books to find all my Eddings, am now re-reading, starting with The Belgariad, followed by The Mallorean, Belgarath, Polgara and the Rivan Codex.  Then I'm moving on to the Elenium and the Tamuli, then there's always the Redemption of Althalus, and the Elder Gods series...  8) Not bothering with The Losers or Regina's Song though...

HRRRH Let's see how much I get read before the end of the summer! ;D ;D ;D

Such an excellent series :) I'm sad to say I only have 50 pages left. Got any recommendations for my next read?

I guess it depends on the genre you would like to read next! :)

I just began The Gallows Bird by Camilla Läckberg yesterday, and I really love it so far. :D I had really liked The Ice Princess (by the same author), so I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be disappointed. It's written on the book that 7 million copies were sold.. Damn! :o I didn't know Läckberg was that popular in Sweden. She almost seems to be a new feminine Stieg Larsson! hrh :P
