Gillian Flynn - Gone girl. Don't like it too much, seems detective stories are not good for me anymore.

Avatar – the Last Airbender: The Search (Graphic Novel) by Dark Horse Comics :D

Wonderful to see how the show is continued … it seems that they still have so many stories to tell.

Andy Weir - Martian. Have seen it as (wonderful) movie, now reading as book. Another good example how to make movie based on the book.

I've just finished Le Parfum, also known in German as Das Parfum, by the German author Patrick Süskind. It's reeeeeally heavily focused on odors. The end is really strange.

I know, but it’s a masterpiece :)

I loved the descriptions of odors and how they inspire memories. It was wonderfully done.

Indeed. The quality and the level of the writing are very high. That allows the author to go very far with the theme without making the story bad or senseless. The book is intended for higher studies, but it's still appropriate for us and it allows us to analyse literature.

Well, school is why I read books. lol

Stephen King - The Langoliers (Time eaters). Seriously, I don't like King's books, from those five or six I've read there is only one I liked. This one is not exception, although I think it is one of the better ones. I read it purely for studying purposes (as geocache based on this book exits).
I even wonder why Time eaters, when they are World eaters/destroyers.

Northern Lights Part of the His Dark Materials Trilogy written by Philip Pullman.
Apparently this book was met with controversy from the Church.

I know about that series. I should read it someday.
