A Storm of Swords 2: Blood and Gold by George RR Martin. Best book I've ever read.
Do they split the book in two parts in Sweden as well? I was very confused when an acquaintance of mine told me he was currently reading the 3rd book in a series of 12 planned :o … in Germany they split every book in 2 parts. But I’m reading the Bantam paperbacks.
I only own A Storm of Swords in two books, and I didn't know that they could all be divided..
Are you reading them in English? I am :)

Is that serie (or books already released) really good? I was thinking about buying it - I need some reading for holiday and I haven't bought anything for a years (that's lie, this year I bought ASG :)) Although I think I'll finaly buy something from Bernhard Hennen about elves :D
I really recommend it! I can barely stop reading it!

I sure do :)

I’m not sure about the splitting… Maybe Germans can’t handle these tomes :P ;D
I think, the English original is pretty great. The language is very good, easy to understand and one rushes far too quickly through this world and everything that happens in it. Every page I turn I think »What will he come up with now? Where’s he going with this?« and there’s always a surprise. Excellent! :D

Yes! It's so brilliantly written! And this world is so rich: every person got a past and a reason to act like they do.
I'm absolutely in love with it. And you never know what's going to happen next, you know what you want, but it twist and turn and always surprises you!
:D

Consider Gödel to be crazier than Escher, Bach to be crazier than Gödel, and Escher to be crazier than Bach.  Maybe you'll find what I'm talking about in the book ::)

Fairly technical, really.  It's a long book (777 pages, not including the preface, but including the sources and index).

Wow, sounds complicated. ;)

Les secrets de l'Atlantide by Andrew Tomas. A 40-year-old book, but very interesting. :D I think I'll have to look at more recent sources to update my knowledge on the matter, it's so interesting! :)
