Jake: How will I know if she chooses me?
Neytiri: She will try to kill you.

OK maybe this works for you. I am not so sure about it but I actually saw a bunch of Na'vi halloween costumes when I googled it. Here is the link to the "sexy Neytrir" one. They had all the main characters. I was a little unsure how to feel about the commercial costumes though I guess that may be a little odd. Maybe you can modify parts of the commercial one for your use.

I am actually trying to steer away from those becasue of the low quality they are. I want to impress all of the students here by having face painted, a wig with a queue, and Na'vi ears... All of the cookie cutter stuff that is out there wont really work for me. Thanks for your help though.  ;D

Yeah, it really is pretty much crap. How about this....in almost every city in the US there is a beauty supply house such as "Sally's". They sell all the stuff used in beauty salons including long long packages of real and fake hair, up to about 3 feet long. Many ethnic hairstyles incorporate this hair into "weaves". Get a several bunches of the black (the synthetic is good and is usually less than $3 a package), maybe as many as 5. Any ethic stylist can weave it into your own hair and copy the Na'vi style. It takes hours in the chair, may run into $75-100 to do. and will last until your hair grows out. But you can get a "real" hairstlye and queue that will last for weeks or until you cut it out.

Also, you can go to a wig shop and for usually less than $50 buy a synthetic but good looking long striaight wig. Try making the braids yourself or get a stylist to style it for you. That may cost no more than about $35 plus the wing. Then you can wear it for years. Cos play wigs are another option. My little town has both places. Students in hair styling at local community colleges can help too and usually will for the practice.

I have made  style earrings and necklaces from feathers and stuff. It is easy to buy white or colored hackles feathers at any craft store. They can be dyed or painted. Make sure you get hackles as they look more like na'vi styles. Then you can string them and use them to make the hair adornments like when Jake is Toruk Makto. Sometimes they come already strung. His claw or teeth head band is easy to make using Super Sculpy also from the craft store and leather straps you can get in the section for making leather crafts. Read the instructions to bake the Sculpy. It lasts forever. You bake it in a regular oven then paint it to look like claws. I have used it to make fake wolf and bear claws for costumes. I can send you some leather straps an pretty much the exact color if you can't find any. I will share mine with you. I have plenty.  I sculpt and make ethnic dolls such as Native Americans since my grandfather was one. I have lots of experience making this sort of stuff and wnat to make more when I have time off. I have made pow wow outfits for local native american children so am pretty good at that sort of thing.

Oh, and I would suggest air brushing for the body paint. This is a good time of year to get it with Halloween around. A small cheap air brush set complete with canned compressed air is less than $45 at the craft stores. But a word to the wise..be sure to use air brush paint or you'll never get it through the airbrush. I have one for T-shirts. I save my expensive one for air brushing cakes. You could use a long sleeved knit material shirt and air brush the stripes on it. Get one na'vi skin colored and get the stick on masking available at the craft store. Cut out stripes and air brush the shirt using the aqua color paint. Hand paint on the dots by first using a darker aqua, then a dot of royal blue in the center and finish with an offset tiny dot of white mixed with glow in the dark paint. Looks like the real thing.  Acrylic air brush paint is fine for this type of shirt as long as you keep it thin and put waxed paper inside the shirt to keep it from sticking to itself. Oh, women's leggings can be used for the legs but you will probably have to buy white and paint them.

Sorry for the long note.

As far as the ears are concerned, you can probably get them at a costume shop.  But I'd go to a Costume shop instead of a party store like Party City.  They won't have the good stuff.  A Costume shop will have all the really good ear pieces.  The other thing you want to make sure of is that spirit gum actually sticks to you.  I have a friend who's skin just drinks the stuff in and nothing will stick to her.  She went to Ren Fest here one year dressed as a Hobbit and left fake hair all over the faire from the hair she spirit gummed to her feet.
