So, after almost three years I had to renew the thermal paste...

With the new PSU, I've found out that my GPU had a actually temperature problem. The GPU's hotspot temperature apparentely hit the 120+ °C threshold value that cause the GPU to do an emergeny shutdown of the whole PC.
So, I went ahead and just decided to replace the thermal solution...
I was really nervous as derping on an GPU that once costed 1400 €. But the operation was absolutely worth it! After several tests the new max hotspot temperature was 90 °C. :D
