I'm using Win7 for desktop and laptop, and FreeBSD on my server.

but I think that Windows/DOS should be Windows XP/2000 and Windows NT should be Windows Vista/7. I have a hard time to believe that someone is acctually using anything before Win2k

Elektrolurch

Well... why not? :D

Okay, I failed on installing PCBSD now... :(

Switched back to Ubuntu.

You're not alone today ;D I failed on installing Gentoo.. I think I've compiled the kernel wrong. Now I have kernel panic when try to load it :D And I found the error - I had to enable SCSI low-level driver...

Primary system is running WinXP, with Mac OSX 10.4, OS/2 2.0, Windows Server 03, and several more copies of WinXP installed in VMs.

If you want to know what else I have:
* 4 additional PCs with WinXP.
* A Pentium II for old games uses Win98.
* A 486 I have runs DOS 6.22 w/ Windows for Workgroups 3.11.
* And my Wii has Windows 3.1...(yeah, there's a homebrew app for that).

Windows XP, Vista, and 7 are all NT-based, even though "NT" was used exlusively for 4.0 (I think it was server for 3.5?)

ANyways..

Windows 7, Vista, XP pro (3), Linux (2), NT4, 98SE, and WM6.1 ;D

Give us a chance, MORON!

I had to put up with major graphical issues... the driver WAS installed, but I could only work on 1024x768...

Odd choices ("Windows NT" and "Windows/DOS") the latter implying old Windows ... I uses primarily XP & Win 7 which I wouldn't class as Windows NT.

I use all of the above, but I may select only 2...

Well, my primarily used system is Gentoo Linux.

Elektrolurch

HRH Sorry. ::)

Yeah, Gentoo is nice... but a bit too complicated for beginners like me.

Both is Windows NT scince NT is the base of Win2k and every OS after that.

As nebtioned earlier Win XP and Win Vista/7 would be better options. I highly doubt that anyone is still using a DOS based Windows version.
