Full body paint job

Kaltxì ma frapo,

here is the best paint job I have done so far...
During a winter meetup of our clan I just wanted to see, how far I can get with PAX paint.

Another tsmukan from the forum (Apokya) and I started to paint on Monday, 26th and we stayed in make-up until January, 1st.
(Because of a party on New Year's Eve we wanted to go to after the meetup).
Yea I know, this is completly insane..  

Total painting time: 10 hrs (for Apokya and me),
Total retouching time during all days: another 10 hrs.
Time to remove the paint: 4 hrs.

My aim was to create some kind of mixture between Toruk Makto and Olo'Eyktan.
Some items for my costume which I want are still not finished, as you may notice.

During the shooting, temperature was 1°C and it was extremly windy... Believe me, my txìm was frozen whithin a few minutes.
That's the reason why we didn't go into the forest (as planned and just a few 100 meters away) to take the pics.
On this day I didn't put on any facial prothesises.

Additionally you may want to know that I have lost more that 80 lbs. since March 2011.
(You may compare these pics with those taken in August last year during EuroAvatar 2011).

Congratulations on losing 80 pounds in less that a year!  That must takesome HARD WORK!
I will take that as inspiration!
Your costume looks very good. I tend to think though, that the Na'vi who dress in full leathers, those who live in colder climates of Pandora!  I wonder if creatures in the colder climates actually have fur?!

Even if a lot people are against using PAX-color for several reasons, I'm going to stick on it (hehe, in the true sense of the word ).
I can't wait until it's getting warmer again. (during the last week, it was around -10°C here)

Well it's all speculation. But I'll suppose that, too. There are ice caps on the poles of Pandora - and any creature that uses to live in the colder regions must cope with the climate. On the other hand, there may be some other uncommon method to brave the cold. ["uncommon" in terms of terrestrial biology]

lol, anyway, if you use PAX paint, you shouldn't have any fur at all. Otherwise you won't have any anylonger during make-up removal.
