Ma frapo, kaltxì,

Well I have been inspired by the design-draft of the Ikran Flyer Dance/Hunter Dance,
which can be seen on the pic in the attachment.

As I asked on facebook as well, I am planning to do such a gathering pxaw ylltxep.
Yes, it won't be easy to make all the dresses, but I feel as we could manage to do that, can't we?

Chances are that this could go beyond known borders of a "standard" cosplay event. It should be more LARPish with the option to really loose oneself in the drumbeats, the sounds and the dance, to really fall into trance - if well organized.

But I need help for that, because this is a big project. So I just wanted to ask, who could imagine to take part.
I'd love to do such a ceremony twice: one in the US during the next AM (because there are so many blue people on one spot) and again here in Germany during one of the major meetups, depending on who-comes-from-where and wants to take part.

For the US event, I can't do next to nothing more than bringing myself and my little experience to that event but I can come up with ideas.

Both events will be next year, so there is plenty of time to prepare.

I live in West Texas where there are few trees to burn.  I can't imagine having a fire that large out here!.  In my younger years, I used to participate in the Lakota SunDance Ceremony.  I would not dream of violating the spiritual words that I learned, out of deference for that culture.  We danced around a Tree. symbolic on many levels. Mì oeyä vur, I have written an IKRAN FLYER song.  I will make a rhythmic song and teach it to frapo for next year.  I used to make headdress and prayer fans from the feathers of birds that been killed by vehicles.
I am familiar with many dances by Native Americans.  I miss the trance/dance state I would achieve.  The Sun Dance that I participated in involved a two beat pattern, like a heartbeat.  It involved doing without food and water for four days, (Yikes!) And sweat lodge ceremonies. I have always enjoyed spontaneous drumming circles. I would like to be involved in the planning for such an event in America.

In fact two of those headdresses depicted are inspired by Native American Indian regalia:
The fan one looks like the Apache Spirit Dance that I've seen, and the double horned on looks like a Hopi mud head clown!
I can probably get Tompa 'Ivong involved.  He likes the idea.  We should post the invitation for input to the other threads or general discussion, Na'vi customs, and Spirituality threads

I've started another thread here for more specific plans on that topic for EuroAvatar 3.

Any suggestions very welcome.
