Amazing! Really good work! :o
I think it has needed a lot of time to do it.

Unfortunately we couldn’t finish the gown by the day of HoldfényCon, although we worked on it literally night and day. Kif said he wouldn’t go without it, so we took the half-finished gown with us and showed it to the people, but I couldn’t wear it. *sobs* A real tragedy! You can see it in the video as other people saw it. Of course we’ll go on working on it, and one day it will be ready to be worn. I don’t know when this day comes, because we don’t hurry anymore…
It’s a big disappointment for both of us and maybe for you as well. We’re sorry. But at least we could show some new stuff to the public: the Mo’at doll, the wig-head, Norm’s cap and the daisy cutters.
Most people don’t recognize these things, since they are not really fans and don’t know the Film as we do, but the most trivial stuffs (like weapons and ornaments) always make a hit.
Thank you, guys, for your encouraging words. I promise to show you pics if the gown’s ready.

At last it is finished!  :)
I thought it would never be ready to be shown to the public. (It took about 6 months to make the gown.) It will be shown on 18th May at HoldfényCon, Budapest.

Actually I could show you some pictures (on the dress-stand) now, but I'd prefer to do it when there are photos of me wearing it.  :)
If you are too curious to wait, you can have a look in the gallery among my pictures.  ;) (I couldn't wait until Saturday either...  ;D)

Thank you, ma tsmuke! So you have checked it... ?  ;)

Important: this item (just like almost all the others) was made by the two of us! With Kifkeyä Nari we always work together on our cosplays. And also this gown was finished with my little daughter's ('Evi) help. So the glory is shared with my dearest family!  :D

This gown-project was one of our greatest family projects. We have tried many new materials, and applied lots of new methods and solutions.

I’m happy that after Barbie-Mo’at I insisted on making it in full (human) size.
We are looking forward to what the public will react to Pam’s outfit on 18 May.

Although we have some new plans, now there will be some rest and relaxation for sure.

WOW!!  :o !!!! It's great! +1, if you don't mind me asking how much did you spend on beads? Did you buy them in bulk? I want to maybe do something similar to this in the distant future, and your experience is invaluable to me. You guys do great work!

What we used were two shades of red and yellow beads (the very tiny ones) and some bigger white beads too. They were bought in half kilo packages (it's much cheaper this way!) and we used approximately 3 kilos of them. The price was about 4000 HUF (only for the beads) that is some 17 USD, if I'm right.
But stitching them on the strings was the easiest part of the job, believe me!  :) It was far much difficult to figure out how the other parts should be made and putting them together... Half a year. (But mainly at the weekends! :))
I'm very glad you like it though. It's not probable that it's ever going to be worn again: not comfortable at all!  ;D Prefer being Pam, the mother-Na'vi.  :D
