QuoteLooks good so far, although i think it might be a bit big    . IIRC Mo'at's shawl was smaller in comparison to her own body.
Do you think so?
... It used to be even bigger, but I stepped on it at the front and at the back too, so I cut it smaller. Maybe not smaller enough...  ;D

... Oh, thank you, guys for the mekxukxi mekukxi!  (Ooops, lenition occures!):)

Well, i don't think Mo'at's shawl was so long that she stepped on it  :P. And i don't think it was as saggy as yours currently is. Personally, i think your shawl is a bit too much like a kimono with its length and ``drapiness´´. Sorry  :(. Just saying what i think about it  :-\.

Ulte nga lu smon nìprrte fpi kxukxi (Please, correct me if i said it wrong  :).)  :)!

Quote from: Alyara AratiIt might be a little too big, but it looks great!  You could cover the veins in glow-in-the-dark fabric paint if you didn't want to spray the whole thing.  Anyway, fabulous work, ma tsmuke!

Good idea, ma Alyara  :)! Paint holds better than spray, right  ??? :)?

How did you do it?
I used some veil fabric, cut into a leaf-shape.
The veins are made of white 3D-Liner puffy-paint. And you're all right: it really does need some glow-in-the-dark stuff!

Thought I'd just post some pictures :P
About the length, take a look at Le'eylan's first image in the post above. I think it's quite allright...

Irayo.  It really is awesome.  Any plans for some thinner veining amongst the larger ones?

That's exactly what I'm wondering about: whether to make some more veins or not, to make some of them thicker or not...  :-\ Do you think I should?

Could somebody make a post with pictures of P.A.'li's shawl and Mo'at's shawl side by side  ???? It would be easier to make a comparison then  :).

Eeeer... I don't think this picture of Mo'at is an official one... In it her shawl is definitely much shorter, but it's not the original one, I'm afraid.  :-\

It was the designer model for the shawl.

Oh, I see...  :-[ ...But I prefer the ones right from the Film.

Beautiful shawl, Pam! Looks very accurate to me. :) Here's a screencap of Mo'at's shawl as people seem to be looking for one:

I love this picture. :)
Yes, great!
The next question: what does she wear under the showl? There are only a few moments when it can be seen, and it resembles the wings of a dragonfly... On blue ray it's more distinct, but I don't have it.  :(

Kamean

I clearly saw only loincloth. And also cannot catch clear view of "dragonfly wings". :(

Again I point at Le'eylan's post where you can see clearly that she's wearing some kind of bra which seems to be made out of rope/vines/roots and indeed some kind of dragonfly wings (which are best visible in the third screenshot).

Looking at your shawl and comparing it to Mo'at's, i'd say that you should make more, thinner veins in between the larger ones. I would give you a picture of your shawl and one of Mo'at's as a comparison but the computer i'm on right now, which is one in my school, isn't capable of copying images. I'll post them when i get home and are able to use my family's own computer  :).
