I believe I've read about these somewhere. I know Long Wood Gardens in West Chester (area) PA, has an exhibit of tree houses that I'm dieing to go see this spring! We'll see how those are, but unfortunately, they're for display only  :(

I think I am going to experiment with the simple technology that allows this toy: http://www.artfire.com/modules.php?name=Shop&op=listing&product_id=1119946 to move and weave as part of an internal structure for a tail.  I won't be able to control it! But at least it won't be just limp or just stiff, if I can make it work.

Yeah, those keep a certain structure and yet move.  Interesting idea!

I love solar panels, Zero Energy houses, vegetative roofs, permeable paving & rainwater harvesting, but that still isn't green enough for me.

Another great thing to add on the inside of your tail is a chain, its weighted and has great movement to it when to run and walk. though i haven't worked out a good way to silence it xD I've glued stuffing to it but perhaps I need to attach more?

Yeah my tail is furry but hay its great fur and it was expensive fur that been laying around doing nothing for years. Bout time I used it xD it was only after I made it I got told it looked Na'Vi-esque. Though its totally not the right shade xD

A question that often drives me hazy: Am I or the others crazy?

The first parts for my moving tail came today, Im off to sweden though untill wednesday, but hopefully things should go quickly once I get back  ;D
