UV/Blacklight Tanhì Tattoo?

(1/9) > >>

Maweyatan:
I'm thinking about getting a tattoo of Na'viyä tanhì down both arms. Except, I want to have it be UV reactive, so it would glow! What do you all think? Good idea, bad idea, crazy, not crazy? Lemme hear your opinions on the matter! :D

Well my general rule with tattoos is that I have to wait a year after coming up with the idea before getting them, that way I can be assured it won't be something I regret to much later in life.

Still, this is a pretty cool idea. I've heard a bit about UV reactive tatts, you can only see them in black light and they glow right?

Not entirely true, you can still see the design on normal skin if you look at it due to the damage it does, however its not as obvious as having colored ink in of course.

Unilmokri:
Was actually thinking about getting "Na'vi-esque" blacklight tatt's in my face the other day  ;D (yes yes, I know it's a SUPREMELY stupid idea, but I had it all the same ;D)

Would have to decide on a face-pattern ofc, but imagine having your face light up everytime you walk under blacklight - kinda like freckles :D (which, if I had any, would without a doubt be tattooed with blacklight-ink allready!)

Can't wait for the dvd to come out tho, need to scour images of the interior of Hometree for any type of Na'vi artwork. You know, Aztec, Celtic, Maori, etc. all have different styles, been thinking if the Na'vi/Omaticaya have their own style too.

Eaite Randjam:
Well, you could take the Tattoos for a "Test Drive!"  Instead of getting the tattoo, use face paints or makeup that glows in the dark/under uv light and wear it for a while.  If you like it and think you want it permanently, get it tattoo'd!
