English is easy for me, because English are a Germanic language. From Slavic language (your Russian) to learn English would be not really easy. There are two different languages​​.

It's easy for french speakers to learn English. I'm good after 5-6 years of learning at school.

Funny. French is for me like English in Germanic language. The pronouncation of French is not easy, but easier than English. :)
