I don't know if it will be generally helpful, but in the Seattle area you can get custom fangs from Victor Moray.

OOh this is ice but I'm going to move it to the Dealer's alley and sicky it there.

How does a man choose between fresh and fly?

Okey dokey then. :)
I figured since I wasn't selling anything myself it'd be ok in the regular cosplay section but whatever works, lol.
Thanks for the sticky though, I really hope it helps people out!

I do too! Good job putting it together.

This is great! Do you have any suggestions for wigs? I don't want to get something hugely expensive if I don't have to, but a cheap wig could turn out to be problematic. I'm going to braid/style it myself. Any ideas?

For my Neytiri wig I bought a long black lace front wig ($40-50 on ebay). Braided and beaded it, then added in the extensions, sew the braids down in place to avoid the wefts of the wig from showing, and then sew in the accessories (feathers).

Basically the same thing was done for Jake but we didn't use a front lace wig since it required less braiding.

I actually paid a friend to do these for us since I was so stressed out at the time, but it shouldn't be too hard to do yourself.

Has anyone bought any of the contacts?  I only want to get them if they are good and not painful.

I've bought these: http://www.youknowit.com/online-shop/avatar-contact-lenses2154216.cfm

The circumference was too big for my eyes, so they wiggled around like googly-eyes, once you blinked though, they would realign. They made my eye look smaller since the pupil was smaller. Also you could constantly see the yellow in the peripheral, it was weird but kind of cool. They're uncomfortable at first but I just have a low threshold of dealing with contacts. I hate my regular contacts too. I got used to them as the night went on.

I ordered some other contacts in preparation for the exhibit opening. http://www.youknowit.com/online-shop/i-glow-eclipse-contact-lenses-pair636423.cfm the pupil is bigger so hopefully my eyes will look bigger. I wish I had looked around at all before ordering these though. I didn't know these came in a non-blacklight variety, but I had already ordered and it was too late.

If you have any questions about the contacts I wore, please ask.

I attached a picture to show how it sort of made the eyes look smaller, and almost less Na'vi like I feel. Ignore the bad paint job, I only had q-tips to work with.

Awesome.  Are the prescription?

Sarah Noel

They're not prescription, which is why they're pretty cheap. I'm near sighted, but I just sucked it up, since wearing glasses is out of the question.

Prescription was a necessity for me (-7.0 and -5.5...).  :(
Please tell me if you see mistakes in a Na'vi post of mine. It's the only way I'll learn. :P

Oh wow, it certainly would be, I'm only -1.75 in each eye.
