Hi! First, I'm sorry for writting in English here at the German section, but I need some help from you, here: http://forum.learnnavi.org/linguistics/german/msg429389/.

If you don't want to open this link, here is the text:
QuoteHi!

Since I started learning Na'vi, I must admit I am trying to learn other languages, with not much success. However, I got a job offer from Germany, but I do not know almost anything about German... they want me to learn German in the next two/three months, so that I can work there... I cannot buy any book nor have lessons, so I am trying to learn it with some .pdf file that I can print... anyone knows a good .pdf file to learn German? In English or Portuguese, if possible...

Thank you!!!

No problem, ma MIPP ;)
Since I directed you here – allow me to translate for you:

QuoteHi!

Maybe you (MIPP) know that I'm interested into learning Portuguese, so Plumps' idea of one person teaching you German and you teaching that person Portuguese sounds good to me, nevertheless you have to say what you think about that before.

Sadly I don't know any useful files, I could only help by chatting with you.

I hope that I can help you. Here are three free websites/ebooks that should help
you to learn German. The last one is a ebook which is obviously only a scan, so I
can't say if that one is legal or not.

Something annoying about this book is, that they use the order "masculine, neuter, feminine"
in their tables, but the normal order is "masculine, feminine, neuter".

Beside that, I've found a couple of cheap books for like 10€, so if you're able to pay,
then I'd say you should do so. I think that we should just let this thread open for
questions and stuff...

Auch von mir: Viel Glück.

I might be interested in learning Portuguese.
And teaching German to foreigners sounds nice for me for a long time.
Even when I am not professional in that.
Maybe are my knowledges in Spanish helpful.

I wish you good luck, too.
