England is joining the rest of Europe in a big push for Wind Power

 Well I read this story this morning, and thought that I would pass it along. This, along with what both Germany and France are doing, should help out the Earth in a noticeable amount. NOE, I hope that the success of THIS project, gets England, and the rest of Europe OFF of coal, and SHAMES the United States into STOPPING ALL burning of coal as close to immediately as possible.  Niri Te

I completely agree.  Unfortunately coal is easily available in the US...

With good news, the 10 year plus fight regarding Cape Wind (coast of Massachusetts) is moving forward slowly.  Regardless of the cost, they need to do this to both learn and set an example of successful offshore wind production in this country.  And, sadly, many government leaders were against this as it was ruining the view from their vacation homes.  (Which happen to be facing the other direction on the island that might see them in the distance...)
