Hey its starting to come into Autumn/Winter here (Australia)
any suggestions on fruits/veggies to plant?

You could probably begin planting "starts", or getting seeds to sprout. But first you have to soak dry seeds for 24 hours in order to soften the shell so the baby plant can push through. Do you have Farmers' Almanacs in Australia? I've never been there so I don't know.

Thank you Rain big help! I shall stay in touch and let you know how it goes or what I do =)

You're very welcome! More plants equal more oxygen, and that helps process CO2 emissions. We have other threads that cover similar items, feel free to browse! I'll warn you though, in my family we add about 15 extra square feet to the garden each year. Gardening gets addictive! lol

Weather predictions, astronomical data, advice for gardening and foarming and cooking, conservation, sustainable living, etc etc. If there isn't one in Australia, you may have to do research on your own or team up with a group of knowlegeable persons. And of course, I can help as much as I can from a distance.

with the 496,805 square kilometres, is that per box, or in total?

News! Today, we harvested ten+ pounds of red potatoes from the garden, often getting down on our knees and digging with our bare hands. I call it "good old-fashioned dirt therapy". Soon, zucchini and squash will be harvestable.

Southern Indiana. And get this: yesterday, we got two pounds of peaches from a three-year-old tree, and something like five pounds of tomatoes, which I blanched today.

I wish I had room for that, we used to have pet chickens laying fresh egg and we sold the extras to neighbors and once we accidently made white pumpkins by planting pumkins too close to spagetti squash. And we had fruit trees there too :)
