i kinda felt that we are missing a important poll here

What about motorcycles? :B  They're infinitely more efficient than cars.  I get about 60-65 mpg on mine.  (I hear mopeds can get like 100 o_O)

I'd totally ride public transportation if I could but my county's transport is such a joke.  The buses are almost always empty.  The nearest bus stop is about a 20 minute drive.  It seems to me it's just hemorrhaging money to the county :|

Usually walk, sometimes bus.  I really ought to get my hands on a bicycle.

Unfortunately the only good way to get around where I am is a car.  Once I move to Europe, I'm sure I'll be using public transportation methods, depending on where I live.

I walk a lot and use public transportation (bus, train). But I'm annoyed especially by our train system: always delayed, full, defective air conditioners... I'm thinking about getting a car...

I like walking and cycling, but without my car it would take me twice as long to get to work than when driving. Alas.
