What a pity that this meeting is already gone. Those were really funny days and I'm looking forward to the next meeting.
Those who are interested in my report about the meeting you can find it here: http://forum.learnnavi.org/meetings/1-euroavatar-meeting-in-berlin-(6-treffen)-resonanzen-und-kommentare/

Then our conversation with Karyu Pawl, it was just awesome!

There has been no activity for more an two weeks. Are there some news about this event?

I'm sorry that I didn't write in this topic after the meeting.

In Berlin we were 19 people, the biggest ever in germany.
There were things like climbing, watching the movie, cosplay (6 Na'vi in 2 days ;)), geocaching and there was our big project: our radio play which we played per Skype conversation with Karyu Pawl Frommer.

It was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to our next big meeting next summer.

Sorry, if this is a necroposting, but the topic's title sounded good for my question to be asked. So: is there anybody here from Central-Europe who's seriously interested in cosplaying Avatar characters (like we are), and would be interested in meeting us in Hungary or a neighbouring country at a convention or some cosplaying event?

I like the idea of a huge European clan-cosplay event, but I don't know if I could come to Hungary. :(

But I am posting this for notification ;)

I know that this might not be what you are looking for, but there is a huge cosplay event next year at the AvatarMeet. Looks to be 21 people signed up for the cosplay part of the event at the moment. Just a thought.  :)

Yes, I know about this one, and I wish me and my family could be there, but it's absolutely impossible.  :( (The journey itself would cost a whole fortune, you know...  :() But we're constantly watching the news about the meetups...
What we'd like is to find cosplayers nearby, so that we can meet several times (maybe), since we love dressing up as Na'vi people, but in Hungary we couldn't find too many fellow-Na'vis. (We got to know two of them, but they are not as committed to blue-cat-cp as we are.) Our conventions are sometimes visited by foreign cosplayers from the neighbouring countries (once a Romanian girl won a competition here, and I also met a fabulous Weeping Angel from Austria...), that's why I though it might be worth trying to ask...
Anyway, if it won't work, that's too bad... if it will, YAAAYYYY!  :)
Anybody interested in Na'vi cosplay inside or outside Europe, do not hesitate to contact us on facebook (soaia leNa'vi).
(Also all the three of us are on this forum, so ...!)  :)
