Maybe Gothenburg or Copenhagen to make it easier for our non-swedish smuk? Uppsala isn't the most exciting place in the world anyway... :P

Copenhagen -> then kewnya txamew'itan might be able to come?

Alas it looks like I'll be stuck here in the UK at new years so don't go with Copenhagen based on that.

I think that it would help the Gothenburg meetup a lot if we first count how many that would be interested in it. With enough people renting the cinema wont cost much more than a ordinary ticket.

Hey guys. I've become way overloaded with work, and I won't be able to plan out when and where this should all happen. I can still come - but someone else is going to have to do the dirty work of deciding where and stuff. Sorry!

That's ok, shouldn't be too hard.

What we need is...
Place - seems to be leaning toward Gothenburg now...or?
Time - december 20-30... can someone just yell out a date and have everyone agree? That'd be swell.
Duration - IIRC the suggestion was 2 days, as no-one has complained I'm going with this.
Lodging - do we all arrange that separately? Or should we agree on an area or hotel/hostel?

I'm leaving activities for later.

Oh and kewnya, it's really too bad you can't be there, would've been fun to meet you :)

Place - Yep..
Time - December 26th to 30th would work for me.
Duration - 2 days sounds good.
Lodging - idk.

Place: Gothenburg works.
Time: December 27th-29th, let's say. That gives me boxing day in the UK without travelling.
Duration: two days = good.
Lodging: I'll couch surf. It's about the limits of what I'll be able to afford.

27th-29th means 3 days and 2 nights, are we sticking to that or cutting one day? If we are getting rid of one, I'd suggest making it 28th-29th and we can still arrive early in the morning and leave late. What do you think?

As for where to sleep, maybe it's easiest to take care of that separately but we can help each other out if anyone needs that :) I'll be looking for cheap hostels.

Didn't we mean that we should have the meetup somewhere in 27th to 29th? i.e. 27-28th or 28-29th.

The Sweden meetup?

I might be able to if I have enough notice, since I will need to book flights :P

Lodging
So, how should we do this? Does anybody live near Gothenburg? Do anyone know any good (and cheap) hotels/hostels?

Well I was going to wait till we set a date before I started looking for that, but hostelworld.com is a useful site for finding hostels. I'm not that good at finding cheap hotels because I pretty much always stay at hostels (at least when I'm the one paying, haha). And did we decide on a date yet?
