To all you fan artists... What do you use to create your masterpieces?

If you create digital art and use the computer, what program do you use? What are some techniques you use?

If you prefer actual "pen and paper" art, what do you use? Pencil, paint, ink, and what kind? What techniques do you use?

I like to use pencil and paper for the sketching purposes and as far as traditional art goes I also am a big fan of acryllic paint, prisma markers (expensive but amazzing) and black ink.

I am also a big fan of Photoshop. I have been using an Intuous II tablet since 2004 with Photoshop Elements 2.0, and very recently upgraded to Photoshop CS4 and I am loving it.

I definatley support traditional media all the way, digital just confuses the hell outta me!  ???

I mainly work with coloured pencils and watercolour paint for colouring in lineart done with black inky pen :)

I recently did a life drawing class and it's made me less scared of oil and dry pastels :)

Most of my art is photography and photo manipulation. I use photoshop CS4 (I have CS5 but for some reason I haven't installed it yet) and I have an ancient wacom tablet that still works (though I'd love to have a newer one). Oh and lightroom is really good for fixing up photos.

I sometimes do sketches with any mechanical pencil i can find if I'm working on something that needs some precision, otherwise I like ink because it makes you work your mistakes into the finished thing. And I finish such pics in photoshop (that is, those few times I get around to it).

I've also been meaning to learn how to do those spray paintings you can sometimes see people doing at subway stations, but then it started raining too much and I couldn't do that outdoors :P

I personally prefer regular art, but i have a lot of respect for those who master Photoshop. There are endless possibilities in that thing.

Traditionally I prefer watercolours, paper, pencils, indian ink and stuff.

Digitally I prefer SAI, Photoshop and Painter - and my Wacom <3
