Thanks guys :) means a lot.

Here's basically some emotional vent art ^^;  and finished picture of "Sit still Hunter"... i kind of rushed the shading; but i like it.

How much time do you need for the sketch of your images?

I already started to draw around a bit, too. Of course the results aren't comparable to your works and my biggest problems are proportions and angles.

Totally depends on what i'm planning. little sketches can take 30 min or less; depending on the pose and how detailed i make my sketch before inking it.

 ;D i know i've been saying i'm busy at school with Art; and here's why:
My NCEA level 1 panel for Art!
This is the WIP of my panel for my NCEA Level 1 Art class. I have 3 paintings left to do on the right side of my panel, and re-draw 2 drawings (top side of left)
The only drawing on the top of the left has been approved by my teacher so it's staying.  i know the whole thing doesn't look like much' but all of these have had concept sketches; testing color ideas; concept paintings and then the final image. Took me almost 2 weeks to finalize the first 4 A5 Paintings on the top right of the paintings before i painted them.

Our theme had to be based on 'Passing of Time' and mine starts off with a boy reading a book and his imagination goes wild; Showing a fantasy land where a mythical water dragon hatches; grows up and dies in a storm where it's body gets washed up on the shore and eventually becomes a pile of bones :)

All art on here is mine! All of these have been done over the year in and out of class.

and also a WIP of a drawing of Chimera & Kai; i found a drawing in a similar pose; i would credit the original artist for the pose but i don't know who they are since i found it on a friends Facebook profile

Awesome! +1 I really like the dragon pictures. And the picture of Chimera and Kai looks good, the pose and view is unique.  :)

:D I agree with you; every piece tells a story in some way!

Here's an update on my Thanator WIP; The grey lines are the refined sketch (which i'm still working on)

i was very flattered when someone on a Facebook AVATAR group asked if they could use it for a Tattoo! Sorry for the watermark; i really don't want anyone to take it :(

I doubt anyone would steal your artwork. Maybe I've just come to that conclusion because of my lack of exposure to the art world.

I especially doubt that anyone on here would take it. I'm not sure that I can speak for everyone, but I have a great amount of respect for you as an artist and your art and I certainly wouldn't take it and claim it as my own.

Mainly to deter people on DA; I have had the odd one or two people edit some of my avatar art and claim it as theirs; hence why i'm being cautious with this picture. :-\
