I think the face is pretty much perfect. For some reason though, the eyes don't look like they're actually part of the face. They almost look like stickers. Still think yours looks better than mine though. You can totally tell mine's fake. I've seen some REALLY impressive ones one these forums.

Looks awesome! I have to agree, the eyes sort of jump out at you. I would suggest shadowing them a bit or smudging the edges a tiny bit. Great job!

Eyes may look like that cause i made them from scratch , by hand on a tablet. As the rest by the way.  I have to work on it a little more for perfection. This is my first attempt on a Na'vi transformation.  I'm glad you like the face generally though

Lol i was kinda aiming to make the eyes  jump out at you, at least the first thing you notice, to have fire in them.

Again, nitpicking to the extreme here (because that pic is freaking awesome and WAY out of my skill level), but while the face and eyes in your picture are very good, the lips seem kind of flat and colorless. If I'm coming off as a jerk, please tell me, because that is not what I'm aiming for.

THe general effect reminds me a bit of a computer game character. I think it looks good, your stripes are very cool.

Cool. I have a few creative friends who don't really understand constructive critisism, so I'm kind of used to holding back. This habit kind of makes me feel awkward when openly critiquing others work.

I just had such an impression. THe eyes seem sharp while the surrounding area a bit out of focus. That creates a contrast which hints a virtual character look.

Yeah. The picture it was derived from was a little blurry, and I got a bit smudge-happy.
I would texture it some, if I knew how. Anything else? If there's one thing I don't think I get enough of, it's criticism.

I certainly didn't already have an Avatar only 7 posts in. I used one of the generic pics for a while. Then I found a website that automatically takes pics and makes them into Avatars. So no work for me  .
