This na'vi girl is rather beautiful ) Especially original version. In the edited one you lost a lot of details (where is her braid?), and the color of her skin is too saturated.

But actually, I don't like when artists draw na'vi girls like vamp women... Hìtxoa.

A new Avatar Fanpic I'm currently working on, started today. There's only a video for now because the picture is still a "WIP" ;) And I guess that "Na'vi tuté" isn't correct, but well, I'm still a beginner and too tired for thinking of a better title  :P

"Tuté leNa'vi" - Painting Progress Pt.1 - Speed Painting

Just wanted to share. Any comments on this are much appreciated.

I'd use leNa'via tuté or tuté leNa'vi (Na'vi women (adj. + noun)). Na'viyä tuté is "woman of Na'vi"

It is just awsome.
Thanks for the video.

Thank you for your comment on this :)

Hope there'll be video of Pt. 2 very soon, don't have that much time for personal paintings lately...  :-\

Skxawng

I dig the first version far more than the 2nd ... the shading becomes lot more subtle and the whole thing feels overall less controversial and 'color dodge/burned'

I would in the future, however, attempt to use color less local, and more diverse. Use cool/warm shadow/lighting to add volume and volume. Great stuff though!

And why don't you post them in your own topic?  :-\ ;)

NICE! I loved watching that video. It's so cool to watch artists draw stuff. Skxawng, you are an epic artist too. I havent seen much new from you in a while. (Perhaps because I have not been looking for it ;D)

Yeah I know, thats one of the things I have to work on. So thx for remembering  ;D Well, 2nd picture (video) is still a work in progress, so I'm still trying to make this become a better picture - and a picture I could practise on and hopefully have learned something afterwards. ;) I just have to use color more "freely", not so "stiffly" like it is, still, but I think it's getting better piece by piece.
So thx for commenting :)
