Pitcher - A'o

The pitcher is a is a parasitic plant, drawing water, nutrients and carbohydrates from the roots of surrounding plants. This plant is unique on Pandora, in that almost all of it grows underground. The large leaf only emerges when the plant has fully matured. If there is enough room for it to expand, it will produce a single flowering stalk, which is very rarely seen.

The plant was named by an ex-Marine with little knowledge of botanical nomenclature. This was because the large leaf naturally collects rainwater, which is safe to drink. Neytiri taught this to Jake Sully during his first few days with the Omaticaya clan.

I drew it, because it has been seen on Avatar and also because this plant is beautiful and interesting. I put colors, because it is needed and to make also a little effect. I agree I could be better, but that's me!

My drawing aren't in my wastebasket after a selection of the best drawings which I should keep. I put it in my billboard. Now, they are invading it! :o ;D

Near the pitcher is a picture of me. At the top left is my great grand mother and behind her my dead rabbit.

And the calendar... reveals which language I speak.

The leaf of the Pitcher Plant, resembles the leaves of the South Pacific Taro Plant, I liked the picture.

Wait a minute... I just checked on Google and they are almost the same. :o Maybe the Pandoran plants are inspired from Earth plants. :-\

Thanks for the comment. :)

This morning, when my mother came in my bedroom, she said that she and my uncle are also good to reproduce drawings. So, I was born in the right family. :D

Valentine's day's gift - Three panopyras and a woodsprite

Instead of drawing one ''flower'', I drew three plus an extra. Better, isn't it?

Also, I didn't color it. It makes it more beautiful.

I think about making soon a handmade book with these drawings.

Looks nice, some times color just clutters up the image that the brain gets.

Tapirus
NOT PAPYRUS.  ;D For French people, not tapis russe ;D

I drew a new one. It is one of the most perfect I drew.
Now, I don't know well what I will draw and also where I'll stick it. :( But I'll continue when I want. :) ;)

Nì'ul sìltsan!

The (6) legs, the things under its mouth and its head are very well drawn. The top is maybe less good, but it is good enough. Shades replace well the colours, like if I printed it in black and white. The lines are also perfect and draw the form of the animal.

It looks like the original animal, at the bottom right:

You learnt to draw datails. You need for contrast! Legs and eyes are so fuzzy. ;)

It's the camera, not me. ;)

You learnt to draw details.
:D

However, I don't draw a picture if there are a lot of details. :(
