T-Shirt photoshop help!

Kaltxì everyone!
Nawm Karyu and I have set about to make us a unique Avatar T-shirt, based on the design seen in a picture of Cameron. Front, the Na'vi hand, back, 'oel ngati kameie' in Papyrus font.
Problem is, he photoshopped a somewhat low res picture into the shape of a Na'vi hand (the idea to make a T-shirt out of it popped up later) and the lines appear to be rough when increasing the resolution. Can some photoshoppin' ace come to the rescue?

Well Nawm got further than I did - couldn't even get as far as a decent Photoshop image when I thought a Na'vi hand would make a cool icon in the rhyming dictionary.

I'd suggest making a vector shape of the hand in something like Illustrator, then you when you bring it into Photoshop you can scale up the shape as much as you need to before applying your blending effects.

If noone can help you out first then I should be able to do this for you - but I'm crazy busy right now so it might take a few days at a minimum.

May I make a suggestion?

I propose making a normal (human) handprint, and then erasing the ring- or pinkie-finger and then modifying the palm by either overlapping it or digitally shortening the space. I'm not sure if I made myself clear though...

Glad to say, Eight's vector tip did the trick, we have a perfect Na'vi hand in high res. I'll post a pic of the shirt as soon as we print'em.
