The Image is drwan with a ballpen and is only scanned ... not edited on pc or something like that

The Image was drwan on Dec. 16th i had the Avatar Pic as Wallpaper and was so excited because on that day i was going to watch the premiere of Avatar and first i just started to draw the eye but at the end i realized that i've drawn the whole wallpaper
Thats why there are these damn to holes in the pic

Im no artist, but i like it. It looks like you put some time into it and really considered your details.

From what I can see, the best suggestion I can give you is to try and work from your elbow. All the strokes I see here, with the exception of the scribble-shading are hatched from the wrist, or in many cases from the fingers alone. That is, the main point of motion that creates the mark originates from the fingers, or from the wrist - when you make a mark using only your fingers to move the pencil, they tend to be short and curved, with a heavy start. The same goes for the wrist, though to a lesser degree - this is because the arc of movement is determined by the radius of the circle (which is the distance from the wrist or finger to the point the pen touches the paper.) -- basically you're making arcs of a small circle instead of straighter lines for crosshatching.

So like I said, try to work from the elbow when crosshatching, it'll give you more pressure control, straighter lines (which means more subtlety control) and overall a more professional look.

Otherwise just keep drawing, practice makes better :P

Irayo Skxawng,

That was pretty awsome analysation and yes many parts of the shading were drawn in short motions.
But like i said it is my first pic for a long time and i was never really good at drawing ... biggest problems are mouth and facesymmetry thats why i choose this pic
