Use of the Oculus Rift for 3D modeling...?

This new Oculus Rift thing could probably have some cool applications for those of you that pursue 3D modeling programs.

It would make it really easy to get a good look at your models in a more realistic setting.

I never thought of the Rift in this way until you posted the link to that video. That's game changing IMO. I think this could be a big deal even outside of it's obvious gaming applications. I've been working with some basic 3D applications for a while. The Rift may inspire me to take it to the next level.
