Kaltxì, ma eylan!

For a little project of mine, which I may or may not get down to do during the next couple of weeks (depending on other real-life business), I'm looking for pictures of Ikran(s) and/or Toruk.

I already got whatever is in the ASG, the trailer and what Google Image search spat out, but I'm still not entirely happy. I'd especially be interested in "simple" views in-flight from multiple angles (pretty much like p66 of the ASG, but just from more angles). The ideal situation would be if someone had a toy / model that they could photograph, but anything (other pictures, drawings, etc) will be fine.

As I said, I'm not even sure if I'll be able to do what I'm planning, so please don't go through enormous troubles for this. However, if you can help me, I would be most grateful and it certainly would gain you a honorary mention ;)

Try youtube for Avatar TV spot - there are 20+ short trailers with extra movie footage.
Where is my NDD fix?

Well well, what do we have here. Are you in any way planning on creating a mobile?
I know, this is kinda thread-napping but I was working on one which is now hanging in my window...

Hehe, not far off! I was thinking of a wire frame model of either, and (depending on progress) nifty translucent surfaces made with Window Color. But since my artistic skills are nearly non-existent, I require very detailed templates to work from ;)

Out of curiosity, how did your mobile work out?

Also, thanks MaTe for the suggestion! I indeed managed to get a few bits and pieces from YT Avatar videos.

Well, for a "first ever made" it's not bad.
I learned a lot. Mind if I post the (4 or 5) progress pictures here?

Oh, please, do post them here! I think everyone would be interested. If there is sufficient interest, I'll rename the thread to something more general about home-made flying Pandora creatures ;)

Aysyal, Take a look at YouTube and search for Flying Banshee. A modeler in Japan built a R/C/flying model Ikran and Tourk and one other Pandoran flying creature. He posted static pictures and flying videos.
