Kaltxì!

A online band is a band where the musicians use a software like Guitar Pro to write songs and add/modifiy on what others have written. Dropbox is a nice shared folder program to share everything with. The only downside is that you need a good recording setup to actually sound good, because a good song quality will be a solid plus when you want the music to be heard.

I think this language should have some power metal. Power metal is a genre of epicness and does not have to be speedy, but not slow either. I can do guitar playing, ss I need.

Vocalist: ____
Guitarist: _____ (if you're better than me, lead, if not, rhytm)
Bassist: _____
Drummer: _____
Mixer/masterer: _____

I really want to start a power metal band, it's a wide genre, so please don't ask "can we do <insert genre here> instead".

The genre is known for power ful chorus, no screaming/growling, no anti-relgion or political terms, melodical.

Examples of power metal:
All You Need To Know. Have some punk-like verses, really unusual thing in this genre, but the chorus is powerfulLand Of Light, quite catchy song, powerful and epicTrail Of Broken Hearts, a bit sadder mood, the extreme technicality of this band's other songs are unusual.
A bit on the heavier side of the genre, but the medieval sounding melodies are quite epic
I need at least 10-100 more examples to show you all the sides of the genre. Na'vi power metal would be awesome!

I am getting quite good at the language, but another songwriter would be awesome.

As a drummer, I respect those drummers in power metal.  However, I am not a fan of the genre.  Maybe if you changed the genre to something requiring less chops, I'd be willing.  Because I'm more about groove than blasts-beats.  Sorry... :(

On indefinite leave.  Will be back periodically. Feel free to say Kaltxí: I'll get back when I can. :D

I am sorry, but I'd like to keep it power metal, but blast-beats is not that common in power metal. There are a lot of songs without it.

What software?
And as for guitar, I recommend it, but I also hope that you are patient, it takes time, a lot of time. With passion, expect to be quite decent after 2 years.

As for first guitar, A LTD 50-series of any kind is recommended. Ibanez also makes good beginner guitars (Ibanez GRG 170DX for instance). Squires and other newbie-strats are not recommended, they are a bit heavy to play on and might discourage you. Protip: try before you buy.

Rhasody of Fire - Holy thunderforce - more epic Powermetal

OK, thanks for providing more examples, as I said, you need a lot of them to explore the genre fully.

But please, NO band is tbe best, it's just a matter of opinions. I like the light hopeful side of power metal, but I like songs from the dark side too. And with your examples, please tell the name of the song.

I did have such phase too, more of a "listen to everything that others listen to"-phafe.

I thank Guitar Hero (really) for leading me into rock, then metal then I got stuck in the epicness of power metal.

My favorite power metal band is Gamma Ray. I have many times tried to get into Gamma Ray, because it is quite important that the first impression is good and then I got deeper into their style as I listened more to them.

Salvenger

My friend got me listening to stuff like: Five Finger Death Punch, All That Remains, and Children of Bodom
Now I love all sorts of metal music.

My request still stands, I still wants to form an online band, I have a lot of experience, because I have been on 4 which has failed due to people getting "busy".
