Quote...if you make a problem, everyone has my permission to tie you to a tree. And forget you for a few days.

I wonder to whom that was said...

Chapter 9 will reveal this.

Ooh, interesting storyline. Also I didn't get the joke about the bar either until this chapter - I must remember to engage my brain more, heh :P

I admit that this might be a difficult one, so I thought I would make it clearer further in the story.

I am glad things go well.

Let me share what I just wrote:

Quote"Lolet and Rakan are just the ones to ask if something strange has to be done."

Does anyone disagree?

"As the song of the flute grew stronger, the sound of the people's voices faded away while everyone was becoming enchanted with the music that danced with the beats of the drum."

I'm quite proud of that one.

Writing one of the First Songs is a hell of a job... but I am proud of what's developing!

I think I have the song done. It is in chapter 12, which did not go fast because of all this thinking. I have for now the benefit of recovering from being ill, so I have time to write. After the weekend things will slow down as then I am back to work. And on Saturday I have an all day meeting, so that will be a slow day too.

Nothing I post here is editted... I just write. Too much. ;)

And as a teaser, here is the chorus of my song:
QuoteNantang si 'angtsik, rìtì si pa'li,
All children of Eywa, making the world.

Eywa Ngahu, ma Ekirä.

This is my fourth Nano. I don't write like I am writing. I write like I am obsessed. And mixed with my obsession of Avatar, that only makes it worse. That makes it very hard for me to have people around me when I write, when they don't understand that.

I may someday make time to put the song to some music. I can hear it when I read the words, but the musicians have to play a bit louder. It is a simple tune.

You can, ma tskoyu. If you don't do it inside the month, finish it outside the month. You can do it. The story is inside you: set it free!

Just yell if you need encouragement. Pickles go a long way, and you can mix them easily too! ;)

Probably tskotu would be better - -yu works on verbs to produce a word meaning someone who does that verb - like the English suffix -er (a writer is someone who writes, etc.). -tu on the other hand isn't fully productive (so that means you shouldn't really make up your own words with it, but that doesn't stop people doing it "unofficially" until we get a better word) and means the person associated with that noun - so if it is a word at all, tskotu would probably mean archer - but it might also mean someone who makes bows, for instance. We don't know until we get confirmation from Frommer. But it would be the best bet for now.

Ahhh, right. Hmmm, I see that "si" is used for 'make' a lot in verbs, like tsamsiyu. It might not the same, but a bow-maker could be tskosiyu, where tskotu would be archer. Just philosophising.
And irayo!
