Awesome! So this is your NaNo?
Yes, it is. My personal sequel to the original movie. Going well, too, writing helps me from zoning out.

I like it so far! :D

You've tackled the inevitable aftermath of the last movie, something I avoided.
Pasha, an Avatar story, my most recent fanfic, Avatar related, now complete.

The Dragon Affair my last fanfic, non Avatar related.

I am glad you like it.
The aftermath was a challenge to write as I did want to keep to the movie as close as possible. Somehow, once I got going, I found that there was a lot of freedom in writing it though.

One possible correction to your Na'vi - we still don't know this 100% clearly yet, so you might have actually been correct, but this I believe is the general consensus.

"Oe ke omum" should be "Oel ke omum", because the object, although it is not stated, is still implied (in this case, "I don't know why he wants to talk to us", the bit in bold being the implied object). This means the verb is still being used transitively, so oe needs its ergative ending.

BWahahahahaaa!! I HAVE to post a small preview of what I just wrote. I think it is too good!!!

QuoteThe teacher looked to the source of the yell. It came from Lolet who came running.

"Puvomun, do you know what a 'pxar' is?" she asked.

"What?"

"A pxar," Lolet was certain. "Jake told me to make kava so the pxar was ready. Rakan is already making jugs, but we don't know what a pxar is."

Puvomun thought for a moment. "It is probably one of these Inglisi words he uses. Pxar. Par, perhaps?"

"Yes, that was it. Par." Lolet beamed as she recognised the word.

"It must be something Sky people use to drink," Amhul tried to help. "Maybe he means the cups."

Lolet frowned. "I don't think so."

No, just kidding, I love the fast rate really... you're just stopping me from being able to do anything else because I'm too hooked :P

And I make my debut!  So much fun reading this...now I need to go work on my own NaNo since yesterday was a washout.  Planning a dinner party for the first day of November = what was I thinking? :o

I've read only the first two pages for now, and will read the rest when I have time.  :)  You seem to be off to a good start, though.  :)

I am glad you like what I have been punching out so far.

I do make time to wonder about a few things now. 'u is 'thing'. The plural, undetermined number, as far as I dare to rely on my memory, would be ayu, srak? Can anyone confirm this?

I want to use this for 'metal things'. Ayu alefngap.

Yes, almost correct - but remember that lefngap metallic is a constructed adjective (from fngap metal), and so because of the le-, it doesn't need a- before it (but it would still need one after it if the adjective came before the noun) - so just ayu lefngap (or lefngapa ayu, or even ayu fngapä - things of metal, any of those would do).

Thank you kindly! Someday, or rather, some year, I may get this.
