Cut to Aircraft Chamber Heaven's Gate.
The group sweep in, there are only a few aircraft left here now, two badly damaged C21's four undamaged ones, still not used, one single new scorpion, and the vast bulk of the P1, all the tech's and Ralu are all working on it, flat out.
Max comes racing out of the Airlock with an assault riffle. He stops short as he see's Jake, Neytiri and the others.
Jake "What's happened?"
Max "Surprise attack, half an hour ago, I've just lost my avatar. You saw Ty then?"
Jake "No, we must have past him on route."
One of the brand new C21's fires up.
Jake to Neytiri "Ty has an avatar now, most of them do, Ty rescued an injured Ikran about a year ago and nursed it back to health, he calls it Tiswayon Pxan."
Neytiri looks at Jake, suprised "I have missed much while I have been away."
Max "We've established a second front, we've counter attacked Hell's Gate. But we getting hammered out there, there's just too many of them."
C21 lifts off, and flies out.
Work stops on the P1 as every one shields their eyes from the down wash, the Ikran are slightly spooked by this.
Max "Anyone any good with a hammer? These guy's" gestures towards the P1 team "could really use a hand. Man, it's good to see you Jake, Neytiri."
Sound of Samson approaching.
Max "My taxi awaits." gives a deep and flamboyant bow and runs off to the main door.
Calls back "Bill's in the control room, he'll brief you."
Group enter the airlock.

Cut to the control room, Grace is leaning across the holographic table, Bill is leaning awkwardly against it, his left leg splinted and bandaged, his left arm is bandaged and in a sling. His face has several large cuts held closed with butterfly sutures.
The group file in,
Wainfleet stunned "Dr Augustine, I, I heard you had died."
Grace "You heard right. And now I know what the neural connections between tree roots are for. It's these guy's after life." sweeping hand gesture toward the Na'vi in the room "It's all here, the whole of Pandoran creation."
Wainfleet, looking unsure "Everything?"
Voice of colonel Miles Quaritch "Every living thing that crawled, flew or squat in the mud, if it died on Pandora, it's here,"
Quaritch leans over the table, becoming visible as he enters the coverage of the holographic table "including me, son."
Wainfleet looks slightly freaked.
Bill "Lyle, you know about maintenance, can you pitch in and help on P1?"
Wainfleet "That big thing outside? I'm there." Lyle slips out.
Pasha "You're making your own avatars here?"
Bill "We are."
Pasha "What NVT do you use?"
Bill "We use existing avatar's as donors."
Pasha "So in other words, mine."
Bill "Err."
Grace sighs "Wake up Bill, where d'you think it came from."
Bill not understanding "The original donor was back on earth."
Pasha "And now I'm here."
Neytiri "Where she belongs."
Quaritch "I hate to break this all up, but we have bigger fish to fry."
Grace "The Omatakaya have gone far and wide to tell every clan on this continent of the attack."
Bill, "They're poring in, by day break we should have two to three thousand. By night fall tomorrow, we expect at least twenty thousand."
Quaritch "Hell's Gate have half their forces held back, they plan to run shifts, so we're looking at total warfare, twenty four hours."
Grace "We need you to get some sleep, you'll be more use out there when you're rested."
Quaritch "We have one major problem, there is a new satellite grid, we've tried to hack into it, and we've failed, they have a live feed of our every move."
Grace "We have access to the old satellite grid, it's better than nothing, but it is old, glitchy and there are gaps."
Quaritch "Which they are exploiting."
Grace "We can act as eye's and ears where we have no coverage, but there are limitations."
Pasha to Bethany "Up for it?"
Bethany smiles, glances at Pasha, then around the group "My doctorate was in software systems, design and development. Six years ago my ex was sniffing round for some new ideas for system security. Can you guess where he worked? He blabbed enough, I should be able to get in."
Grace "I thought you were a Pandoran researcher."
Pasha "She is, we needed a number cruncher."

Scene 11
..... Trudy + Esperanza (looks around 4 years old), Norm, Max, Stan, Cindy in lab, sitting round a console, it's access panels off, cables all over, extra equip plugged in and piled up, something has been hung together.
Norm in headphones, holding coffee, plays around with controls, finishes coffee, plays around with controls again. Stops dead, frozen, hearing Na'vi voices, laughter.
Jakesully wedged in corner and wearing an endopack, "The voices of the ancestors. They live, within Eywa."
Norm looks at Jakesully in wonder.
Norm sits bolt upright dropping his cup, plays frantically with the controls, moves plugs around from socket to socket,
"Sorry, can you [pause] can you say that again?"
Grace Augustine laughs, in a friendly voice "I said 'Hey there, you guy's'.[pause] I like what you put on my head stone."
All look at each other .....

Cut to the new control center.
Trudy, her brother, the Air traffic controller, a couple of others and six members of the eastern sea tribe, the female leader, her aide, and four others, all in endo-packs they look uncomfortable in them. All are looking at the battle on the 3D projector table. Grace Augustine is leaning across and into the table. Camera is head on to Grace, but moving very slowly around the table behind those leaning on it so it is invisible some of the time.
Grace, in Na'vi "We are being hammered along here," she gestures to part of the map, "and along here." she indicates to another part of the map "They were never supposed to get as far as here," She points to the clearing with the field hospital "but they are there now."
Trudy's brother in accented Na'vi "We really need help here and here" indicates the first two places that grace mentioned "but we need them to find and capture this place," points to the shack "It's a" pause "Err," in english to Grace "strategic sacrifice?"
Grace translates into un-subtitled Na'vi.
The camera passes behind one of the Eastern sea tribe and as it passes beyond them, we see Grace side on. She stops at the edge of the table.
Trudy's brother in accented Na'vi "Any questions?"
There are none.
Grace in english "Some one give them some outcast arrows, or they're wasting there time."
Trudy in english "I'm on it."
Grace in english "I need to get back and keep watch, as it's the only thing I'm any damn good for now. Take care out there you guy's." She looks at the Na'vi "Eywa Ngahu."
Grace pulls back and stands up right, she disappears as she passes beyond the table's edge.

Rather than throw in some made up techno babble, I hoped the reader would understand that the scientists and techs had somehow made it work.

Aircraft bay Heaven's Gate.
Wainfleet walks over to the P1.
Stan shakes his hand, big smile "Great to see you Lyle. You know most of the gang ..... "
Wainfleet "Who's he?" nodding to Ralu, wearing identical overalls to the human tech's, but with a slit in the back for his tail.
As Ralu sees the Na'vi who fixed Pasha's leg, he puts down what he's doing, swings effortlessly off the gantry, lands smoothly on the ground at a gentle run.
Stan "That's Ralu, born natural, got the touch. He'll be Pandoras first licensed B1."
In the middle distance we see Ralu greet the Na'vi who fixed Pasha's leg, like a long lost brother, as the rest of the Na'vi follow him out of the airlock.
Wainfleet "Isn't he a little short for a Narvee?"
Stan "He's thirteen." hesitates, then continues sadly "Lost both parents in the fighting twelve years ago."
Wainfleet looks troubled.
Stan "All we humans have done here is kill and destroy, with a sideline mass producing orphans."Looks very sad "No one want's this war."
Wainfleet "Then why fight it?"
Stan with soul aching sadness "Because" hesitates "if we don't" hesitates again, looks at the floor "we sign their death warrants."
Camrea pans back to Ralu and his friend.
Stan's voice "They deserve better than that. We, humanity ..... we can be better than that."

Cut to Ralu and his friend who repaired Pasha's prosthetic leg.
Pasha has joined them, and is showing Ralu her repairs, he squats down for a good look.
Friend in Na'vi without subtitles "With the machines here you could fix it properly?"
Ralu in Na'vi without subtitles "With the machines here you can fix it properly."
Friend in Na'vi without subtitles "I don't know how they work."
Ralu in Na'vi without subtitles "I'll show you how. Remember they're designed for sky people, they're fiddly, but not difficult."

Camera pulls back to Jake and Neytiri.
Jake "I can't sleep, not now. There is a war being fought out there."
Neytiri "Jake ..... "
Jake interrupts "People are dying, people I care about!"
Neytiri "Ma Jake ..... "
Jake interrupts "I don't ...... "
Neyiri places one finger across Jake's lips, takes hold of his shoulder and turns him round.
Camera pans round for us to look at what Jake now sees.
Toruk, sweeping in, and landing a short distance from Jake, it gives it's call.
Voice of Neytiri "I am not arguing, toruk makto."

Scene 25

Spoiler

Sea bed, crystal clear water.
Here the sea bed is flat, sandy, some weed with occasional rocks.
The Outcast's wrist device lays among small pieces of wreckage. A flattened, rounded black oval, on a wide strap, looking almost like an oversized wrist watch.
Outcast appears from the device, startling a couple of fish. He looks around, momentarily disorientated. Spots the wreck of the deliverance, he swims over to it, there's not much left, clearly not repairable.
He pushes off against the ocean floor, and heads for the surface. He bobs up without drama.
Outcast, clearly sad at what he's seen "Pxasìk."
Looks around, dives down again and after a moment resurfaces with the box on legs he took from his personal arms collection on earth, one of its legs is bet right round. He swims on his back to the cliff with it on his chest, gets to the rocks at the base of the cliffs. As he gets out we see the pair of desert eagle pistols and one spare magazine are tucked into the waist band of his loincloth.
He wipes off the bent leg of the box, hooks it over one shoulder, and starts climbing, he gets to the top, and puts the box onto the grass.
A blue stripy hand is held out for him, he accepts it and is surprised by the strength in the old lady as she hauls him up.
She is wearing a loincloth and a shawl, a bead anklet and an oddly lumpy looking archers wrist guard on her left wrist.
Outcast "Irayo."
She smiles, nods and points to Outcast's fake Ikran. He picks up the box on legs hurries over to the Ikran and mounts, it offers him Tsaheylu.
Outcast "Yeah? Who you trying to kid?"
We look over the old ladies shoulder and watch him fly out, the old lady with her right arm held high waving to him, Outcast waves back, looking over his shoulder briefly. She lowers her arm to her side, camera follows down the left arm to the wrist guard. Camera lingers on this for a very brief moment. Partially covered is something that looks like an oversized wrist watch, a flattened, rounded black oval.


Hell's Gate.
Out side, in front of vehicle maintenance bay.
There is roughly six inches of standing water, a line of four dozers, the one at the front has a track off
Camera pans round. A large grill hatch swung up, straddling this is tripod winch kind of thing, with it's cable going down into the water two workers in exopacks look down into the water. A vehicle pulls up next to them, in the back Lars Pope, Magnus and Quaritch.
Camera continues to pan round, a forklift truck comes into shot carrying a large cylinder in a cage.
Camera pan reverses direction to follow it, back past the vehicle with Lars Pope, Magnus and Quaritch on board, which now follows the forklift.
Fork lift comes to the back of the fourth dozer.
Three dozers are having sand bag gun emplacements built up on top. On each are four tripod mounted, belt fed GAU90's plus four triple barrel MBS-9M .50 Caliber 'Hydra' machine guns also belt fed and tripod mounted.
The doors have sand bags in front to keep out the flood water.
The forklift loads the cylinder in a cage into a large crawl way / inspection chamber in the back of the dozer.
Lots of background noise. Air tools, a riveter in the distance, a large diameter gas angle grinder is also in use out of shot.
Grinder shuts off.
Lars " ..... enough to cause significant damage?"
Quaritch "You can depend on it."
Forklift driver "If placed correctly, one'll take out their whole damn tree."
Magnus "And if the release fails, at a pinch we could sacrifice the vehicle."
Lars "Making it the most expensive truck bomb in history, I'd rather it didn't come to that."
Quaritch, with subtle sarcasm "Well, we'll all keep our fingers crossed."
Forklift reverses out, then drives away. Hatch closes slowly on hydraulics.
There is a whoop from the guys by the tripod and the standing water starts to drop, Lars bends forward and say's something we don't hear to his driver. The vehicle drives back to the drain hatch as the water continues to drop.
Lars "I don't want to leave anything to chance, not this time."
Quaritch reassuringly "We have superior numbers, superior weapons."
Magnus chips in "Superior fire power. If this is a war of attrition, then there's 120 billion of us, against less than a million narvee."
Lars "But only three two seventy of us here. Of that, almost a thousand are non combatants."
Any more is lost among the background noise.
After a moment Ted emerges from hiding behind of pile of packing crates and cases in side the bay, he's seen and heard everything, he makes for the closing hatch, but he's too late.
In the back ground, as the water level drains to the access shaft, some one in a diving suite emerges, is helped out, and unhooked from the safety line. Lars, Magnus and Quaritch are in conversation with the diver and the two other workers, nothing of it is heard due to the noise, mostly from the maintenance bay, and repairs to the fourth dozer.
Looks underneath, the underside is smooth, nowhere to hide. Ted sees feet coming round one side of the dozer, he dives under it's belly, and crawls to the front, behind the blade, still nowhere to hide.
The engine starts up, and edges forward a couple of feet. The sounds of two other dozers firing up can be heard as Ted's dozer turns and the three dozers move out, they don't get far before stopping again. A team of troopers give the first dozer a quick once over then climb aboard, being given a lift up in the bucket of a front end loader.
Ted watches this. Dozers move forward, Ted's dozer stops near the open drain hatch, no one is near by. Ted goes for it, climbs quickly down large metal staples that serve as the access ladder, as he gets to the bottom we hear voices return above. Ted drops into the water, its roughly a foot deep and dropping. Ted follows along the large storm drain.
The drain has branches off, this clearly drains all the rain water run off from the whole of Hells Gate. After a some distance one wall changes, here it's old, stained in contrast to the relatively fresh walls elsewhere.
The branch that enters the main drain is round, not square like the others, there is a large heavy metal fitting above it, and a rusty mark all round it, with signs of wear, as if a huge hatch had once been here. There are tell tales that a sign had been here too, but is also gone. We hear a forklift above in the distance, the rattle of chains being used.
Ted doesn't stop to look at it, further along a second round drain enters, same fitting, same rust mark and wear, but the sign is still present. It used to read .....

Pandora's Gate.
Surface run off,
out fall 2.
Risk of sudden flow surges.
Keep clear at all times.
CARTER SELFRIDGE Station Supervisor.

Someone has crossed out the word "Pandora" and, in marker pen, written "Hell". Camera lingers on the sign, but just not quite long enough to read all of it.
Ted can see his exit, but there is a grating of thick, closely spaced vertical bars. Beyond, a short clear area then forest.
Ted just squeezes out, but has to hold his breath and take off his exopack face mask for his head to fit between the bars.


Heavens gate control room.
Bethany is at a view screen, looking desperate, the security protocols have her beat.
Bethany, head bowed forward, ruffles her hair, scratching her scalp with both hands "Think Bethany, think. Where have they gone with this, what did they miss?"
Outcast enters soundlessly, human in an over sized loincloth. To Bethany "You're wasting your time. Outcast." holds out his hand.
Bethany freezes stops scratching he head, then sweeps her hair back over her head.
Bethany "Bethany." shakes his hand "Why d'you say that?"
Outcast "I installed a remote, with full access."
Bethany "Huh? When?"
Outcast smiles "Day one. Six years ago." places the larger of the two view screens he brought from Earth next to her, it has the satellite grid on screen.
Bethany uses the wipe the screen clear with her arm and smear it onto the larger screen method to transfer it to her screen.
Bethany interlaces her fingers, stretches out, cracking her knuckles as she does so. To the screen "OK," as she wriggles her fingers "lets feed you some bull." she begins tapping at the screen.

Scene 26

Spoiler

Short montage of troopers advancing. Heavily armed, but massively out numbered avatars falling back. There is one blue and cream striped amp suit fighting alongside the avatars.

Cut to flying
Jake circles on toruk, three groups of Ikran join him from different directions, he call's and signals to them, they call and signal back.
All fly out towards the sound of gunfire.

Cut to a somewhere else in the forest, gun fire in the far distance.
Someone with cyan skin with darker blue stripes and a tail, has their back to us, they are squatting on the floor, pulling something out of the ground.
Cut to their POV.
We see it's a plate, a spun alloy dining hall plate.
Flash back.
Hell's Gate, only it isn't. It's a much smaller building, with a smaller refinery, a smaller compound, and a single perimeter fence.
On a basic watch tower are two troopers, one with a large stack of spun alloy plates, the other with a bolt action rifle.
Plate is thrown like a frisbee, then shot at.
Cut to back in the forest, a slight ridge, we look past someone who looks Na'vi, and is out of focus.  A gap in the trees allows us to see the tower.
They're is dressed in a loin cloth, and a bead anklet.They are facing the tower and watching intently with some kind of field glasses.
Edge of shot, leaning against a tree we see part of what just might be the dead outcasts gun, but it's too out of focus to be sure.
A plate lands at their feet, they lower the field glasses and look down. We don't quite see their wrist.
We look down from their POV at the freshly landed plate.
Cross fade to the same plate in the same place. Now dull, oxidized, dirty, and part absorbed into the forest floor. Person bends down, takes plate and places it on top of a pile of similar plates in a Na'vi net pack.
Camera pans down the stack of maybe twenty plates, underneath there are two round plastic things, a dirty green color, with stenciled yellow writing.
'EXPLOSIVE MINE, 5Kg, ANTI TANK'
Next to this bag, is the bag that Steve (the cleaner who isn't) looked in and smiled.
This person picks up both bags and walks away quickly.
Camera refocuses on a bush further away and we see Ted look out from behind it, as the plate collector departs. Ted hesitates, then he leaves in a different direction.

Elsewhere on the battle field.
Outcast is on a rocky ledge, with binoculars. He's looking at distant troopers and amps coming up the valley.
Lying on its back is the box on legs he brought from earth and recovered from the wreck of Deliverance. The bent leg has a thick stick lashed to it with a leather thong. Outcast takes the front cover off the box, in side is a pair of red tinted lenses, and a honey comb of small tubes. on the underside of the lid are the controls.
Outcast turns the box over onto it's front and plugs the panel into the back of the box, then carefully stands the box upright, checking that the repaired leg will hold.
He flick up an aircraft style switch guard up, then the switch. Panel illuminates, a small screen shows the valley bellow in 3D but green screen. 
A rotary switch is then turned from the 'Safe' to 'Armed' position.
Outcast looks down into the valley and sees in the distant RDA forces are getting closer.
Outcast exits shot, and as he dose so the screen on the box picks up a small amber spot on the edge, box tracks round so that that spot is central in the screen, a load of other amber dots appear  the box tracks very slowly to keep the first spot center screen, it goes red.
Bang, box recoils slightly.
Cut to troopers and amps in the valley, the troopers dive for cover, amps return fire, but are picked off quickly, one at a time, with intense bursts of very rapid rate machine gun fire, troopers fire back, but can't see their target.
Cut back to the box, bullets are impacting the rock nearish to it, it fires back and we se that as it does so the thong binding slips very slightly, box compensates, but this won't hold indefinitely.
A bullet just grazes the stick, just leaving a slight mark on it. Lucky this time, but .....

Someone with cyan skin and stripes, is squatting on the ground, their back to us. They're on the overgrown trackway from Hell's Gate to the new excavations. They sweep aside the leaf litter and debris, and scoop out a large hand full of the sandy soil, which they spread out. A plate is placed on the ground, fresh leaves are placed on top to only part cover it, a light sprinkle of soil and it is done. Two paces further from hells gate and they repeat the same ritualized half assed plate burial, another two paces and the person squats, cut him walking away from this plate two paces, again squats, same ritual, stands, two paces further, squats.
This time the ritual is quite different. It starts in the same way, with them sweeping aside the leaf litter and debris, and a hand full of sand spread out, but now the unseen contents of the bag from earth is emptied out. Blocks of explosive, detonators, wire, cutters and other stuff necessary for a really powerful IED, plus a few other bits and pieces.
Person scoops out a hole and puts the soil into the now emptied bag.
Cut to POV person looking down the hole, now full of explosives and topped with the anti tank mine, which they now arm by turning a rotary switch on the top from the 'Safe' to the 'Arm' position.
Plate is carefully laid on top, fresh leaves are placed on top to only part cover it, a light sprinkle of sandy soil and it is done.
We see them stand, pick up the bags, the second mine and the remaining half of the explosives.
We see them take two paces and squat, just a plate this time, cross fade to them far down the track, adding the final sprinkle of sand to a plate, they stand, no more plates, no more explosives, the bag from earth is now clearly twice as full. The Na'vi bag has the other stuff in. The person, whose face we still haven't seen, steps into the undergrowth and is gone.

Ted is out in the forest, the sound of gunfire in the distance.
He is running, wide eyed. Stopping occasionally behind trees, a single stray bullet smacks into tree a couple of feet above his head. He looks up at the chunk of bark it took out, then runs on even faster.
Down the slope he pretty much fell down earlier. Between two trees. A Na'vi bow is held across his path to block him. This makes Ted jump, he looks at the person holding it. Four toes, bead anklet, loin cloth and a pair of sunglasses.
Anklet wearing Na'vi, he speaks with a heavy Na'vi accent "Ted?"
Ted "Yes?"
Anklet wearing Na'vi "Where are you going?"
Ted "To warn my friends. Quaritch and the others are going to blow up home tree."
Anklet wearing Na'vi "With dozers?"
Ted "They're loaded with explosives."
Anklet wearing Na'vi "You should be with your family, not here in the middle of a war."
Ted "My Mom's a reporter, I've been to a couple of supposedly safe war zones, been shot at a couple of times, had a man sitting next to me shot dead, seen another die at my feet. I've been to chemical spills and stuff, I've seen plenty of stuff that they won't show the public." hesitates for a moment, looks at the ground "Look we're supposed to be here on pandora to mine unobtanium, coz you can't get it on Earth, but mom did a piece a year and a bit ago, well seven and a bit years ago, about this scientist who had found out how to make it, on Earth, for a whole lot less than it cost to take it from here." pause, sigh "They found him dead couple of weeks later. RDA make too much money destroying your world to stop now, and they won't let nothing stand in their way." Hesitates, then looks up at the Na'vi "I'd rather fight for the truth and die with my friends, than die for a pack of lies with a Mom I hardly know, and a man that sure ain't my dad. Now, take me with you, I want to go to Heaven's Gate."
Anklet wearing Na'vi "Kelutrel is safe."
Ted "I so don't think so! Will you take me?"
Anklet wearing Na'vi smiles "OK." lifts his bow out of Ted's way "Come."

Cut to main gate at Hell's Gate. Sound of gunfire in the distance.
A dozer, sand bag emplacement, ten troopers. It's stuck between the gates, a tech we don't recognize is failing to open the outer gate.
A tech we do recognize walks past two more dozers inside the Hell's Gate compound, the inner gate opens, just enough for him, walks over to the other tech, picks up a mallet, leans on the gate, and gives the motor a sharp tap, gate opens.
Tech, not happy "Windings on the way out, needs a new motor really."
New tech "How d'you know that?".
Tech hesitates, then bitterly "A kid told me." hesitates again, and continues, ashamed "A Narvee kid."
Another awkward moment, as the gate reaches fully open.
Gate now open, modified Dozer moves out. Inner gate opens and both other dozer tanks roll out. The last is followed by another person on foot with with a box on a sack barrow, walking away from one of the small transport trucks.
Lead dozer begins pushing into the vegetation on the trackway, less than half of the dozer has passed the tree line when it stops. One of the troopers climbs down. He walks over to something round and metallic not quite buried in the leaves on the ground.
It looks like a land mine.
Sweating, he gets down on the floor, with a plastic rod he carefully moves the leaves out of the way.
It looks like a spun aluminum mess plate, guy looks at it, then looks closer, then laughs, picks it up.
Into his throat mic "  'Pandora's Gate Mess Hall', it's just an old plate."
Climbs back on to the dozer, dozer moves forwards, close up of another semi buried plate, it is crushed beneath the track, then another, and another, close up of a fifth plate, tracks coming towards it.
Cut back to the outer gate.
Three tech's are working on it, the old motor is off, and they have a new motor sitting in the already open box. There is a huge explosion, they look round and have to hold a hand up to protect their faces from dirt and small debris. We see the lead dozer lifted into the air, the blade and one track ripped off. The troopers and the sand bags on it's back thrown clear.
Two of the techs we recognize from the scene where Ralu showed them how to close the gate. The two of them exchange looks.
The wreck lands, triggering a second, larger explosion. This destroys what was left.
Cut to Ted and the Anklet wearing Na'vi in flight.
They turn and look at the sound of the explosion, Ted in shock and surprise, the Na'vi with an expression of satisfaction.
Cut to Hell's Gate.
Large pieces of debris flies, one piece narrowly missing the techs but wrecking the gate, and tearing a twenty foot hole in the outer fence, and a six foot hole in the inner fence.
Another chunk of debris hits the inner gate, taking it off it's track, so it can't now open.
A larger peice lands on top of the second dozers emplacement. The sand bags saving the occupants, but they are trapped. We hear a muffled voice "Medic!"

Cut to the retreating avatar side.
Norm, into his throat mic "We're being pushed back, hard, but it's taking them farther from Kelutrel."
A volley of arrows takes out quite a few Troopers, one even jams into the ammo feeder belt of a amp suit, they snatch it out, but a monetary close up shows us that the belt is damaged, ammunition won't now feed past this point.
A line of Na'vi warriors appear and Join the avatars from behind and fire of a second volley of arrows at the troopers. They take cover, focused on what is in front, arrows from above this time, and as they turn to look up, Jake and the Ikran come out of the canape straight down at them. Troopers open fire op them but are immediately hit by Arrows from two sides on the ground as well as from the air, Troopers start falling back.
Cut to Norm.
Norm, into his throat mic "Hell it's good to see you Jake."
Cut to Jake.
Jake fires a bust from his gun, then speaks into his throat mic, slightly tongue in cheek "Just glad to be of service."
Cut to Norm, laughing.

Scene 27

Cut to Heaven's Gate aircraft chamber, in the background the P1 is having a large section craned into position.
Also in the background, Ralu and his friend are with Pasha, who is trying her repaired leg, seems fine.
Ted and the Na'vi fly in and land, Ted is off and races up to Ralu, The anklet wearing Nav'i dismounts, walks to the airlock, Ted joins him.
A slight crunching noise and lots of shouting from P1 assembly, Ralu runs to help.
Cut to the 3D table, Bill, Ty, projections of Grace and Quaritch are there, Ted and the Anklet wearing Na'vi enter.
Ted "They've rigged three dozers as truck bombs to take out home tree, but one blew up."
Anklet wearing Na'vi "Land mine."
All look at Anklet wearing Na'vi.
Ted "But I'm pretty sure they're prepping another."
Bill zooms in on Hell's Gate, there is the after mouth of the first dozer exploding.
Grace, with a subtle hint of scorn "Should slow them down."
Anklet wearing Na'vi looks at her "Where is outcast? I have something for him."
Bill zooms out.
Quaritch points to a small rock promontory "Here."
Bill zooms in, a tiny figure is firing arrows down at a crowd of human troopers bellow. He's doing his best, but there's a couple of hundred plus amp suits, advancing on his position.
Cut to close up of the hologram of Outcast firing.
Crossfade to the real Outcast.
Outcast is firing off arrows as quickly as he can, a human falls to every one, but it's not making any difference to the two hundred or so, who keep coming.
We look down, see a sheet at his feet, with a pile of maybe thirty or forty arrows.

Cut to another piece of the forrest. The sun has risen, but a high ridge casts a long shadow over this piece of forrest.
We hear the sound of gunfire, camera pans. Norm and Na'vi have been engaged by a larger force, two hundred plus, with more amps.
The sound of gunfire is mixed with the sounds of bullets flying past, occasionally impacting trees.
Bellow the ridge around two hundred earthlings are advancing, the troopers and amps shooting at everything. Norm and the others back up to the ridge at an angle to their retreat, this herds them along, partially blocking their escape, many Avatars and Na'vi fall as the Na'vi run out of arrows.
A lone, panting Na'vi watches from the top of the ridge as the light from the dawn spills over the forest bellow, the shadow nears the base of the ridge, those further from it catch the first rays, he gives a signal, three or four hundred Na'vi line up, just back from the edge, and look down, between them come the heads of Nantang, and Palulukan. Above them the hammer heads of Angtsìk.
One Na'vi looks sideways, into the eye of the Palulukan to her left, it looks her in the eye, then looks back at the humans bellow. Her eye's wide, she whispers "Oel Eywa".
The light of dawn covers the remaining distance, and at no apparent command all Na'vi aim an arrow at a target, and fire.
Many humans fall at the first salvo, a couple of lucky shots take out two amps, the survivors turn and return fire, but the Norm and the avatars fire to, confusion sets in as some humans fire up the slope, others towards the others.
An Ikran sweeps down, it's Ty with a Samson door gun, he opens fire, drawing attention from those on the ridge, who in turn waste no time and charge, the humans turn and run, but are mown down, by bullet, Na'vi arrow or by Pandoran fauna. More Ikran join the attack, each with riders dispensing arrows.
Humans fall all around, the survivirs are pursued, many more fall.
One of the troopers activates his throat mic, out of breath "Hell's Gate tower, this is Rockwell, Warrant Officer J. Two company, eighth platoon. We're falling back, we're getting hammered."
The troopers come to a thicket of large leafed ferns, leaves thrown aside as it barely slows them. Then they stop. A shear cliff rising in front of them, not high, but enough. Three remaining humans turn, throw down their weapons, put up their hands and surrender.
Arrows pointed at the prisoners, angry creatures snarl and snap.
Tsu'tey sweeps to the front, addresses the prisoners "Your commanders need to be informed of who survived."
Rockwell looks at tsu'tey "Where are the other survivors?"
Akward moment.
Tsu'tey "You three only live."
Rockwell looks shocked and horrified. Weakly and quietly "no"
Tsu'tey firmly "Tell them."
Rockwell activates his throat mic again in shock "Rockwell, Warrant Officer J. Two company, it's carnage here, three survivors, all captured, out."
Tsu'tey holds out his hand and Rockwell takes off his throat mic and hands it over.

Cut to Hell's Gate control tower.
It's busy, lots of chatter.
In the back ground Magnus, Lars, Rich and a few others are watching the proceedings on the 3D projection table, camera pans round, female member of staff is trying to talk to someone.
Female tower staff member "This is Hells Gate tower, say again." she pauses "This is Hell's Gate tower, please confirm, three survivors from two company engagement."
Room goes quiet.
Female tower staff member "This is Hell's Gate tower, please confirm, three survivors from two company."
Long pause, you could hear a pin drop.
She turns round, looks at Magnus and Lars.
Female tower staff member "Lost contact with two company."
Cut to 3D projection table.
Lars "My god thats ..... "
Magnus "Two hundred forty seven dead."
Lars "We can't sustain that rate of casualties, three company is making slow progress, four company is pinned down by snipers."
Rich "And being eaten alive by flies."
Lars "Mmm, I've never seen so many before."
Magnus "You think it's coincidence? Bring five, six and seven companies forward to engage. We'll keep eight company in reserve, for now."
Lars looks out of the window and slowly say's "Truly, this is the gate way ...... "
As he speaks the camera follows his gaze towards the lush green forest.
Voice of Lars " ...... to hell."

Pasha and Quaritch come face to face round a rock face out crop, Pasha with a Bow, Quaritch on foot with a Gun, Quaritch is on a bank, so is not far from eye to eye with her.
Camera moves and pans round to establish the face off, each has their weapon pointed at the other. They are not enemies, but find themselves fighting on opposite sides
Long awkward moment.
Quaritch, in shock "Pasha?"
Pasha awkwardly "Miles. Get my message?"
Quaritch awkwardly "I got it."
Pasha "And?"
Quaritch gives her a long hard look before answering "I retrieved the CCTV black box, and had the footage recovered."
Pasha "What did you find?"
Quaritch "The gunman is real, if Sully hadn't shown up when he did, they were ready poised to take out the shuttle, they aren't an avatar, and the weren't using bow and arrows, so who they are, I still don't know for sure. But I'd bet my last buck that they have something to do with Magnus's stowaway. And anyway, just exactly how in the hell do you get to be here?"
Pasha "I caught a lift. I've met Magnus's stowaway, they were colleagues."
Quartitch "Were?"
Pasha "Gunman's dead. Their technology makes Earth's look pathetic, but they're not immortal."
Three troopers come up, assault riffles aimed at Pasha. Quaritch puts down his gun, slowly, on the ground, places his hands on his head, troopers look at him like he's lost his marbles.
Quaritch pointedly "You might want to check your rear flank."
As they turn, the camera pans round. We see twenty or more aysamsiyu, some in the tree's, some on the ground, arrows aimed.
Troopers put down their guns, and put their hands on their heads to.
Na'vi warriors come forward and gesture the troopers to move out
Pasha "Good to see you again."
Quaritch, irritably "Mmm."
They are walked away, captive.
Pasha "There's someone at Heaven's Gate, who'd just die to meet you Miles."
Quaritch looks round puzzled, Pasha just smiles back sweetly.

Outcast is firing off arrows as quickly as he can, a human falls to every one, but it's not making any difference to the hundred or so, who keep on advancing on his position.
We see a sheet, with three remaining arrows, he reaches down for an arrow, still looking out at the human troopers advancing on his position.
Two remaining arrows, another, one remaining arrow, another, no more arrows.
Still not taking his eye's off the human troopers advancing on his position, he reaches down again.
His fingers touch something he wasn't expecting. He looks down, and we see a gun, the same gun that the gunman was using, and a Na'vi foot and lower leg with a bead anklet.
Outcast takes the weapon and stands slowly, looks at the Na'vi firing at the oncoming humans, his identical weapon fires first a continuous bust of rounds, then after a few seconds the rate of fire abruptly slows. This Na'vi is in sunglasses, it's the gunman, the outcast who died.
Live Outcast looks out at the battle field, there are the scattered fragments of amp suits, and the countless bodies off the fallen troopers.
Live Outcast, in Na'vi, pointedly "You're dead."
Anklet wearing Na'vi "My spirit is with Eywa."
Live Outcast, again pointedly "So what are you doing here?"
Anklet wearing Na'vi "Upgrading your weapon."
Living Outcast looks at it "OK, so what is it?"
Dead Outcastin, in Na'vi "An upgrade." pause "Twenty high yield smart rounds per second. Neural targeting interface. One hundred rounds in the magazine. Assembler array refills the mag at three rounds per second."
Live Outcast in Na'vi "Nice. I expect Jake could use one of these."
Anklet wearing Na'vi "They only work for us." pauses, then looks at his colleague "In wrong hands they could do too much harm."
