Overall guy "No, I think I'm OK."
Pasha "I meant the steps."



We are getting close to the fight scene now, but I'll be a little disappointed if people guess how the fight actually starts.

Jake wins, but Magnus accuses him of cheating, a fight breaks out, and it escalates into all out war .....

Scene 24

Hell's kitchen

Magnus addressing the Human troops.
"We come here for a purpose."
Pause for effect.
"We come here to save our people .... and earth ..... our home."
Pause
"We come here because we must."
Pause.
"We come here out of necessity, not out of greed or hatred, but out of sacrifice, and for the sake of all humanity.
We are here because must be, if we are to survive.
Out there is what we need, if we are to survive.
Out there are those who would keep us from it.
I know some of you are afraid. Hell I'm not going to lie to you I'm a little afraid myself.
But not of this alien.
Remember he needed us to get here, and when he could have killed us all, he did not.
What kind of threat is he?"
Pause.
Softly "None."
Pause.
Still softly "I fear the wild life more, and we, we have the means to deal with it this time."
Pause.
"We all have loved ones back home, we must defend our work here, so that they may have a future there.
We must keep the mine secure.
We are not the bad guys here, and we will not shoot first. But if the indigenous and the traitors wish to bring us a fight," raises to a crescendo here, then continues softly "then we shall repay them handsomely in kind.
We do not choose this war, this war chooses us.
We shall fight it to the last if we must, for we must prevail."



Cut to the huge chamber of the pandoran humans base.

Tsu'tey addressing the Na'vi, in front of the two C21's, hung with missiles, With four similarly equipped Scorpions just visible behind.
in  Na'vi with subtitles
"My brothers, my sisters. We are here once more on the brink of war with the sky people.
Both sides are fewer in number, but we both are better prepared."
Pause.
"We all lost ones we loved, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers," we see Neytiri close her eyes in pain and sorrow for her loss as Tsu'tey say's father, then cut back to Tsu'tey "children. Those we fight do not see us as people, they see us as biting flies who must be," uses English word "exterminated."
Pause.
"We do not choose to fight a war with the sky people, as we did not choose for them to come here.
They are destroyers of worlds, now there work is ending on their own, they come here to start on ours. And if a few" in English, and disgusted "blue monkeys" in Na'vi again "are in the way, then they are happy to destroy us too."
Pause.
"But they are weak, they do not understand our world as we do, and we will use it against them."
Pause.
"And we have friends, and more of them, and because of them we are better equipped, and better able to fight this war."
Now in English "And their world is dying, how many more times can they send their warriors here?"
Cut to Humans in exopacks standing in a group,
Trudy, in Na'vi with subtitles, but mostly to herself, "Not many."
Cut back to Tsu'tey.
"If we keep fighting, then there will come a time when they will come no more, and we can again be at peace."
In Na'vi "Eywa be with us all."

Scene 25

Spoiler

Pasha in her tank.
A small view screen in her hand. A closet door open in her wall to reveal a large screen that is normally hidden from visitors. The screen in her hand has a fuzzy picture of a rock face, on top of which a blue figure, probably a na'vi or an avatar, appears to be holding a gun and wearing sunglasses. The main text is to small to read, but the caption is readable; 'Pandoran conspiracy? Who is the mysterious gunman atop the grassy wall?' above this is 'Pasha, what do you make of these? MQ'
On the large screen, Pasha is running over the cockpit data from the doomed C21, frame by frame. She finds the correct frame, enlarges the section of rock face, there is the fuzzy blue figure, she enhances it, and ends up with virtually the same image, she holds up the hand held screen to compare.
Pasha to the screen, in English "So you are real, but who the hell are you?"
Bethany "Search me. I want to know why Miles wants to know what you think, and why is he suddenly interested in some nutter that claims he's died in back in Nigeria?"
Pasha "I don't know."
Pasha taps the large screen, a man being interviewed expands out of a thumbnail on the side of the screen, she hits play.
Interviewee "As I say in the book there are absolutely no verifiable reports of Major Miles Quaritch being in anywhere in Nigeria during the time we are told he was on his third tour. The conclusion is ..... " picture starts to break up "inevitable, Miles Quar ....." sound and picture deteriorate and we get static.


Track
We see the track cleared by the dozers in Avatar 1. Camera pans across, and we see that nature has begun to reclaim it. The camera pans past the last and only remaining piece of the tree of voices still growing.
We see one of the bucket wheel excavators moving slowly along toward it and filling the track. The machine is flanked by a number of troops on foot, plus four amps, one at each corner. Four C21's follow it over head. A couple of dump trucks follow behind it also.
It drives over the last tree of voices piece, which just scrapes the underbelly of the vast machine, bent over slightly at the top. As it passes, the piece springs upright, pretty much unharmed.
We see troops shadowing the slow moving machine in the forrest on both sides as well as on the track in front and behind. In the distance in the forrest we see a teylu beetle nest mound, slightly out of focus.
Camera pans round to see that the other excavator is already digging. A couple of dumpers are waiting for the track to clear before they head off, presumably to drop over burden into the original mine pit.
Cut to human troops and amps patrolling the forest edge, we catch glimpses of the excavators in the distance between the trees. The humans encounter the old home tree, vast and fallen. Nature has spent the last 6 years reclaiming it. there is a tunnel, cut out to for the humans to use as a short cut, rather than go right the way around it. There is a guarded access to the top side of the trunk, where there is a sand bag look out and machine gun post.
We see more troops and amps patrolling the humans are clearly on edge. The camera p.o.v. moves upward and we see a Na'vi warrior lying on a large branch, looking down on the humans. They have the bow across their back in traditional carrying mode, and a quiver of maybe a dozen arrows.


Cut to Lars Pope, Magnus, and a few others looking at the progress on the 3D projector table, Hells Gate control tower.
After a couple of moments Lars breaks the silence.
Lars "It's been a week, a full 7 day's, and nothing from the Narvee. Maybe they don't care about the place any more, too many bad memories perhaps."
Magnus "I don't like it, the men are starting to let their guard down. They are up to something."
Lars "You give them to much credit, they are a stone age tribe, not military strategists. Hell they live in a damn tree for gods sake."
Magnis "And you don't give them enough credit, the Narvee may be neolithic tree dwellers, but Sully is as human as you and I. Where ever he might choose to sleep, he is still an ex-marine with extensive combat experience. And what of the other 62 humans who stayed behind, we've seen Spellman often enough, and a few of the other Avatars, but Trudy is the only human we've seen. Are you telling me they others are all dead? Why do we never see their aircraft, are you telling me they have nothing that flies? No. They're up to something, I can feel it in my bones. I just wish I knew what."


Cut to human troops and amps patrolling in the forest. The humans stumble upon a wrecked samson left over from the last war, the troopers look it over. Nature has spent the last 6 years reclaiming this too.
Hurwitz into his throat mike "No bodies, no door guns and no abandoned ammo".
The troops and amps patrolling again the humans are clearly on edge.
The humans find a crushed amp suit. '17' is just still legible on its smashed right arm. The suit has been cut open to extract the occupant. There are empty blood packs, drip bags and a couple of empty trauma pack cases scattered around.
One of Hurwitz group "This guy got a lot of medical attension.'
Hrwitz "I wonder if he made it? Ok move out."
We see them move out, one ducks under a Na'vi arrow, still stuck into a tree trunk after six years.
We follow them for some time. Hurwitz sees an animal trail on the ground. It is heading in nearly the same direction as they were headed anyway, he follows along side, around 3 feet over.
We cut to a group with an amp suit and a couple of troopers, a cracking sound above them makes them look up, an Ikran fruit pod hits the ground hard not far from one of the troopers, and topples over to land almost at his feet. "That was close."
Hurwitz hears over the comms. "Keep your head on a swivel."
Hurwitz "They're probably watching us right now."
Hurwitz looks up at the sound of something far above them, its prolemurs, but they are out of sight, and their sounds spook the humans.
Hurwitz still looking up steps on the path that goes round a baked looking mud mound, around 2 feet high and 5 or 6 feet across, a large beetle with large jaws is on the path near by. It attacks, and bites Hurwitz's boot. Hurwitz cries out in pain. Tries to remove the beetle, but it won't let go, another beetle attacks his other boot, he falls over, and is attacked by a couple
more, Hurwitz shoots the beetles, but more are coming, he opens fire on the swarm, but is unable to shoot them all, the rest of the team wade in shooting the swarm trying to prevent more coming, or carefully shooting the beetles that have already attacked. Hurwitz cries of pain are clear.
Another of the squad, Rockwell, calls "Medic! Man down!" into his throat mike.
The group that had a near miss with the falling fruit pod, can hear the gun fire and the call for a medic.
Amp suit guy "This is it guys."
A movement in a bush is met with a burst of machine gun fire. The bullets ricochet off a rock behind the bush and fly every where.
A Na'vi warrior falls from a tree, clearly dying.
Cut to the far side of the bush and a near by tree, we see a Na'vi is only 20 feet from his friend, he ducks his head round the tree to see if he can help him, but is met with a withering bust of gun fire. Some impacting into the tree, some flying noisily past. We see him torn between wanting to go to his dying friend and knowing that to try will mean certain death. He ducks round again, more gun fire. He stands with his back flat to the tree, eye's wide, he can see his friend in agony. He psychs himself up and goes for his friend. He is gunned down immediately.
The forest is suddenly alive with arrows from many directions, mostly from above. All the humans apart from the guy in the amp suit are killed, replicated body armor no match for the outcasts arrows tips.
An arrow lodges in the feed belt of the GAU90. The amp suit guy manages to call out on the Comms "We are under attack." He manages to fire off the few rounds that are gun side of the belt jam, before being set on by enraged Na'vi. He puts up a fight but they manage to force open the visor. Bullet proof windows no longer any protection, they cut his straps and drag him out. He is dragged into the forest kicking and shouting.
In the branches above Hurwitz and co' the Na'vi look at each other, one drops to the ground, and runs over to help. He empties half a bamboo pot of beetle powder into his hand, and with a flick of his wrist spreads the rest into the still oncoming beetles, which suddenly loose all interest in Hurwitz and go mad for the powder. A he uses a stick to apply powder to the backs of the beetles who are already locked on to Hurwitz, as he dose so they release. One of the troopers points his gun at the Na'vi warrior.
Na'vi warrior, in english, and with out looking up "Give it a rest, I'm trying to help your friend."
The other Na'vi drop almost silently from the trees, arrows already aimed.
Na'vi warrior #2 in accented english "Gun down hands up."
They do so and are lead away as soon as the last beetle is removed. Two humans help a clearly pained Hurwitz to walk, one under each arm.
Other troopers have engaged the Na'vi, and the sound of gunfire is clear and all around in the distance.
Na'vi warrior #2 to warrior #1 in Na'vi "Why did you bring that into battle?"
Na'vi warrior #1 to warrior #2 in Na'vi "I needed it didn't I?"
An amp suit is advancing, when the guy looks down and sees a large rectangular patch. It has clearly defined straight edges, is slightly darker colored that the forest floor around, and is slightly low in the centre. A dead fall trap.
The amp step diagonally backwards and to one side, which is met with a crunch sound, a rope pulls a noose tight around the amps leg and hauls it and its driver some distance, over a cliff and into a fast flowing river at the base of a water fall, the suit is leaking, water shorts out the electrics, he slips on his exopack, fires the emergency canopy release. and swims for the bank. The 6 Na'vi waiting for him, arrows ready are less of a problem than the fact his exopack is now full of water and he can barely breath, he falls to his knees as he gets into the shallows
A female warrior realizes the problem drops his bow, runs forward pops open the packs casing, empties the water, shakes out as much from the filter as possible, and snaps the case closed, guy can breath again he takes deep lung fulls, he is clearly grateful, but also puzzled.
She answers the unspoken question, in english "I look after Esparenza sometimes."
Guy looks blank and slightly confused.
Female warrior "I'll introduce you, if you behave."
The troopers that the amp was with, reach the top of the cliff and open fire, they are felled by a rain of arrows fired from above.

Scene 26

Hells Gate control tower.
Lars gestures to a view screen that shows an orbital images of the patrols patrolling and not engaged in a battle. He is shouting.
"Clearly this is telling us lies. Get everything in the air right now, we go in hard. Scorched earth, I want none of them left alive."
The traffic controller and the two other staff get on with their jobs with extra attention.
Outside the aerial fleet are already spooling up, the first ones are already in hover taxi mode. When all have lifted off, the row nearest the action depart, followed at a safe distance by the second row and so on until the compound is deserted.


Clearing.
Not very far from a giant tree, that looks suspiciously like it might be the new home tree, is a clearing. In it are a couple of large cages, made with steel bars, with a tarp over the top for shade, and shelter for if it rains. The Avatars on guard duty here, each armed with a samson door gun. Also in the clearing is a large tent, its sides folded up. Mo'at and a couple of other Na'vi are also here, looking serious. Hurwitz is receiving medical attention for his bites under the tent roof. Next to him a Na'vi is having several bullets dug out of his leg. Max is assisting on the Na'vi. Moat is removing broken jaw parts from Hurwitz's bites, as others clean and butterfly suture the wounds. Both patients are on drips.
Several Humans are already in the cages, as another group of warriors bring in a few more prisoners, and another wounded warrior, pass this simple field hospital.
One of the prisoners, a black guy, is heard to say to one of the others "I didn't expect this from the blue stripy's."
Mo'at, looks at him, her eyes narrow, in english "I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
The prisoner looks at her shocked and goes quiet.
Mo'at goes back to her work, the prisoners walk on, the wounded Na'vi is helped to sit. Cindy, acting as triage nurse, looks him over.
The outcast runs over to avatar Bill "They've scrambled the fleet, we need to go, right now."
Bill nods to his nearest avatar companion, she nods back. Avatar Bill and the out cast sprint over to behind a large stand of bushes, we hear engines spool up. A moment later a samson takes off from there and heads off. Avatar Bill at the controls in the clearly modified cockpit. the prisoners all watch it go, none of them knew it was there.


Pandoran humans base.
Trudy, Jake, the outcast with Bills door gun now slung across his back, and the maintenance tech's are all in a group beside the C21s, which have large blue and yellow war paint stripes on. Human Bill runs over, a little out of breath.
Bill "I need to work on my stamina."
An Ikran flies into the chamber from out side.
Outcast looks at Bill and trudy, "You two know where to wait, I reel them in and you take them out. Remember they have to fire line of sight, you'll have missile lock."
Trudy slips Jake a knowing look.
Jake "What are you going to use as bait."
Outcast "Toruk Makto."
The outcasts Ikran lands near by. The outcast holds up the end of his braid, so that the neural tendrils wave about.
Outcast "Unlike the humans avatars, these are purely for show. The Ikran's a fake too, but it does mean I can change things."
He taps on his wrist control pad "So, we have Jake's Ikran," the Ikran changes colors to perfectly match Jake's Ikran. He taps at it again "Neytiri's," It changes to look like Neytiri's. He taps again "pure black?" it becomes pure black, he taps again "Also available in Toruk." the Ikran isn't an Ikran any more, but a Great Leonopteryx, he starts to mount it.
Jake "What if they see your face?"
Outcast turns back to look at Jake. Jake is confronted with his own face.
Outcast smiles, in Jakes own voice "Way ahead of you Jake."
We see Trudy sit in her seat, fire up the engines, try the control joystick.
Cut to the rotor blades spinning up, and the fans tilting.
We see Bill in his seat firing up the engines and trying the joystick. "Tower this is indigenous 2. Request permission for go."
The air traffic control lady from avatar1 "Indigenous 2, you are cleared for take off, hover taxi directly to hanger door 1 for north departure to zone one. Good luck out there."
Trudy "Tower this is indigenous 1 request permission for go."
The air traffic control lady "Indigenous 1, you are cleared for take off, hover taxi directly to hanger door 1 for north departure to zone one. Watch your spacing, and good luck out there also."
Trudy looks round behind her, we see that Trudy is in a simulated cockpit looking at the lady, Bill is in an identical simulated cockpit next to Trudy's. The women exchange smiles, Trudy turns back and shakes her head, she takes off. We see the two C21's leave the chamber in a line astern formation, as soon as they are clear and are flying above the trees, Trudy moves her C21 along side Bills. We look down from above and see the blue and yellow V on the spine of each aircraft.
We see what looks and sounds like Jake, Toruk Makto, flying high above "Now lets find you something to shoot at."


Forest again.
A group of slightly nervous looking human troopers is advancing. The lead trooper holds up his fist as a signal for all to stop. Three feet in front of him is a trip wire, fishing line from a survival pack.
"Two can play at that game." he takes out his own kit, takes out the line and a large treble hook, attaches it to the line. The rest of the squad retreat to a shallow-ish dip a short distance behind. It has a steep bank on the trip wire side. The line is draped carefully over the trip wire, and the line payed out. Now all the troopers are taking cover, the lead trooper ducks down
"One, two, three."
He pulls hard on the line. There is a loud deep pop. They look over the top, and see a large cloud of confetti drifting slowly to the ground.
"What the?"
A voice behind says, in an accented English laden with sarcasm "Surprise!"
The troopers turn round to see Tsu'tey and a group of Na'vi warriors, arrows aimed directly at them.
The troopers look at each other, lay down their guns and put up their hands.

Elsewhere in the forest.
An amp suit is moving forward, he trips a trip wire, 8 over sized arrows rain down from above in a line, one pierces the suits visor, smashes the view screen, and comes to rest deeply embedded in the console in front of the driver, electrics fail, the suit subsides. We see from the out side, the hydraulic oil is pouring out of the bottom of the cab, but the engine is spooling up. Back inside the driver realizes what's up, freezes for a moment, the turbine is whining. The driver puts on the exopack, and hits the emergency visor release, it fires around ten inches up the arrow's shaft, but no further. He madly wriggles out and free, the engine now screaming. He runs to and dives behind a convenient rock, the only bit of good cover. He looks up to late. As the amp explodes in a fireball behind, another trip wire and another arrow from above ends his journey.

HRH. Tripwired confetti in the middle of the Pandoran rainforest? Thats hilarious.

No mention of the other clans though?

I know where I want to take it after this scene, but I need to figure out how to get there.
This might take a few day's. I hope not, but we'll have to see.

Scene 27

Spoiler

Flying.
The Jake Sully look alike is skimming the cloud, looking down. He spots the RDA fleet, ten C21's, ten scorpions, and ten Samsons, they are well spread out.
He dives out of the sun at them, and opens fire with the door gun, and swoops down bellow the canopy. He has taken out one Scorpion and two Samsons. and one C21 is smoking from 1 engine, it is dropping back slightly, but still flying.
Magnus, on board the lead C21 "Jake Sully, Scorpions give chase, take out his bird, Earth wants him alive. He can't stand trial if he's dead."
The nine scorpions peel off and give chase. The outcast flies in and out of the tree tops, managing to dodge every missile and bullet. He appears, and flies vertically, up between two Scorpions, both intent on taking him out, they take each other out, but a third is close by, the out cast banks and dives back to the trees, the scorpion gives a full burst with the underslung midi gun, a direct hit on the left wing and belly of Toruk,
Outcast "Good job these things are bullet proof." and pats the creature on the neck, it looks round just enough to look at him out of the corner of it's eye's.
Seven scorpions light up the patch of forest he has just entered and the surrounding area, but he's already gone. The outcast pops up behind on of the Scorpions, lets rip with the door gun again, magazine empty, but he's taken out another scorpion, and one more is smoking badly, it empties every thing it has into the patch of forest he dived back into. We see its cockpit, the pilot is struggling to keep it airborne, "Scorpion Bravo Mike returning to base. Fight's over for this bag of bolts."
Over the comms "We'll get him for you man."
Outcast flying in the forest, weaving between the tree's is listening, to himself "Don't count on it." Toruk lands on a large branch, Outcast changes magazine.
On board a Scorpion a pilot sees Toruk on his thermal imaging screen.
Back with Outcast we hear over the comms, "He can run, but he can't hide his heat signature."
Outcast smiles, to himself "Wanna bet?" He taps on his wrist device.
Over the comms "Hey, my thermal just went dead."
Toruk takes off.
"Mine too by the looks of things."
"And mine."
"More of our stowaways handy work."
In the near distance the Hallelujah mountains. Toruk pops above the canopy again, the Outcast fires off a burst in a wide arc across all 5 remaining Scorpions, they fire back as soon as they spot him, he dives below again, one of the scorpions follows him down. the chase is tricky as they both weave and dodge between trees, vines and creepers the scorpion fires when ever there is a hope of hitting him, but seems to miss every time. Outcast flies straight up, the scorpion follows, into the path of an on coming colleague, they take avoiding action and miss, but only by inches. Each pilot getting a much too close look at the other, both wrestling with their controls. Toruk dives back down again, over the top of a tree, which earns him more gun fire and missiles. Now on the edge of the floating mountains, he can use the rocks as cover, the five scorpions in hot pursuit. Outcast sweep between two large masses of floating rock, the scorpion pilots follow. None see the down wash visible from something hidden behind on of the floating boulders.
Outcast dives straight for the trees "All yours guys."
Trudy, as her and Bill wipe them out,
Trudy's voice over the comms "Five scorpions, is that it?"
Outcast, using throat mike "First wave, I took one out to get their attention, one ran home to mommy. And three fell to, err, friendly fire."
Bill "Thats ten, where are the other two?"
Outcast, "Guarding the new mine site. Who'd you like some more?"
Trudy "Hell yeah."
Outcast "Your wish is my command."
The fake Toruk sweeps away, back toward the fleet, gaining hight as it goes.


Forest floor.
A group of three troopers finds a drag mark on the ground, the moss disturbed, and the sandy soil below. Something has been pulled along the ground and there is blood too. They follow it for a distance, they soon come to the end of it. Here they find a female Na'vi warrior, no bow, trying to drag her damaged herself up a low, but steep bank. She is holding a large blood soaked chamois to her leg, she looks scared and in pain.
It's Peyral.
The troopers take aim, Peyral looks up at them with a look of fear. Then changes her expression to 'I'm looking at something behind you', the troops exchange glances. Peyral points, kind of casually with one finger. The troopers turn and see a large group Na'vi warriors, all with arrows aimed.
One of the group of Warriors smiles, (it's the guy who took Hegner to meet the clan leaders in scene 13) "Surrender?"
Peyral, joins the group, unharmed, the chamois was a prop, the blood not hers. She is handed her bow, she takes an arrow, draws the string, takes aim.
Peyral "Or shish kebab?" she smiles a them menacingly.
All three humans put down their guns and put up their hands.

Nice battle scenes so far - this is getting quite interesting, so there are potentially 3 fake Jake Sullies - the outcast, Jake's human "Avatar", Jake's Na'vi Avatar controlled from the human Avatar (if they decided to do that in the end, it was just speculation IIRC)

Jake's Human Avatar's Na'vi Avatar, if they made the daisy chaining work, and if they use it as originally planned.
The outcast, AKA shape shifting Steve.
The spirit of the dead outcast is with Eywa, could he come back? The control box for his avatar is in his niche, we were told they are pretty much indestructible, so that should still work. Could and would Eywa hook up to the dead outcasts canister?
If so, that's potentially 4 fakes, plus the real one!

I'm not planning on having more than 3 Jake Sullies on screen at any one time, even in Avatar3.
Expect the dead outcast to make a come back in Avatar3.

Yeah - this is definitely up there with the best of the fanfics on this forum. You'll definitely be getting karma once you finish!

I mostly like how you've added your own ideas that on the face of it would really clash with the Avatar setting but somehow you manage to pull it off and make them fit really nicely - like the shapeshifting outcast, I really wouldn't've expected something like him to fit well with an Avatar-related storyline, but you've managed it! Obviously the fact that it's well-written and has few grammatical errors also contributes enormously, but the story itself is also turning out to be quite a good one!

Scene 28

Spoiler

Forest.
3 Troopers are advancing, all three are jumpy, every noise makes them turn and look. Then we hear the sounds of Nantang, in the distance at fist, but getting closer. The three stand backs together, only two or three feet apart, each looking out at their section of forrest, camera pans around to look at each in turn, then pans gently to look out at the forrest, seemingly empty, but we can hear the Nantang, very close now.
Neytiri and 4 other Na'vi Warriors look down on this from the branches above.
The nantang attack. The first few are taken out by the troopers, but they are soon over run.
Nytiri, to herself in Na'vi without subtitles "Here I go again."
She drops from her branch to the ground, firing an arrow at the body armor destroying nantang as she falls, it ducks, the arrow just misses it. The nantang turn on Neytiri, the pack as one. As Neytiri uses her bow to beat off the animals, the other warriors drop and join in, the nantang soon run off. Neytiri comes back to look over the humans, they've been badly clawed and lightly chewed.
A Warrior in Na'vi, but no subtitles "So, why did we save them?"
Second Warrior shruggs, turns to Neytiri, in Na'vi, with subtitles, "It is cruel to make them suffer, we should let their spirits run with Eywa." as he takes his knife most, but not all the way out of its sheath.
Neytiri in Na'vi, with subtitles "No. It is not their way."
Neytiri scoops up the most badly wounded human in her arms, and carries him away, the other warriors help the other two humans to their feet, and all follow Neytiri.

Flying.
The Outcast, looking like Jake is flying, ducking and dodging bullets and missiles from a swarm of pursuing aircraft, 9 C21's and 10 Samsons. they are in the hallelujah mountains. Jake, who isn't makes it to the place where Trudy and Bill took out the scorpions earlier, below in the forrest are a few wisps of smoke.
Outcast as Jake "All yours, guys"
He continues flying, weaving as he does. Trudy and Bill open fire.
Cut to Magnus on board his C21, looking out of the cockpit canopy, He presses the button on his transmitter.
Magnus "It's a trap! Get out of here!"
Cut to out side to see Trudy shoot down a samson, then another.
Cut to Magnus on board his C21, still looking out of the cockpit canopy, over the comms we hear "They have missile lock on me!"
Trudy in her cockpit "I sure do."
Cut to Magnus on board his C21, we see the C21 in front of him explode in a ball of flames, small pieces of debris from it strike his C21, a larger chunk actually takes out a Samson near by, and slightly bellow it.
Cut to above, we see the whole fleet turn in different directions and start to scatter, as they do Bill takes out a C21, then another.
Trudy' C21, a samson coming right at her it manages to shoot, but doesn't do any real damage, She takes out with the mini guns. Then gets lock on another, her missile takes it out.
We cut to above and see the fleet separating.
Bill C21 takes out another C21, another C21 dodges a missile of his, but collides with a Samson. As it makes a forced landing, we see it's pilot and co pilot wrestling with the controls as it goes in.
The missile dodging C21 is taken out by one of Trudy's missiles.
Bill takes out a C21, followed by a samson that was already behind a floating rock.
Trudy is hit by a lucky missile from a C21, she manages to take it out before hers erupts in a fire ball the camera follows it down. It hits the ground and explodes as the fuel tanks rupture. A number of lesser explosions, as the unfired missile war heads go off. We have a long look at the front of it, upside down, on fire and far more badly damaged looking than Quaritches C21 in Avatar1.
Cut to Trudy in her remote control booth, pissed "b****."
She presses a button on a console beside her, a small flat square object pops out of a slot, she takes it and drops it casually drops it on the floor, a spare is beside the button, she slips it into the slot. her screens come back on, she is in the forrest.
Cut to a patch of forest, a scorpion is sitting there also with the blue and yellow markings, engines already spooling up. She takes off, and as she clears the tree tops and moves forward we see that is was on top of one of the floating mountains, and is now above the battle, we see the remaining three C21's and three Samsons pursuing Bills C21, one of his missiles takes out a C21, and rear facing guns take out a Samson.
As Trudy re-enters the fight so do two more C21's, two Samsons and two scorpions.
Bill's C21 takes a direct hit from a lucky shot with a missile, and simply explodes, a rain of debris falls to the ground.
A crew from one of the original scorpions watching has to get out of the way as several chunks land around them.
Cut to Bill in his remote control booth, also pissed "b****."
He presses a button on a console beside him, the square thing pops out, he puts it on the console, and slips the spare it into the slot.
As Bill re-enters the fight he dives out of the sun, we see that there are now only three C21's, one samson and one scorpion. As Bill takes out the scorpion, Trudy is hit and goes down, as she goes she manages to inflict damage to two of the C21's, one starts to smoke from one of it's turbines.
The whole fleet turn on Bill, he turns and goes, managing to maneuver to avoid missiles, a few bullets catch him, but don't do serious damage, the fleet herd him back to the ambush site.
Cut to Magnus in C21, still looking out of the canopy over the comms we hear "Dragon Delta Tango in position"
We see the blue and yellow marked scorpion headed to ward the kill zone, a C21 waiting in Bills own ambush position.
Magnus "Roger that."
Toruk sweeps down behind 'Delta Tango', its rider dismounts, landing on the back of the C21. They sprint forward, and throw something into a forward engine intake, before leaping off the leading edge, to be caught by Toruk, gliding bellow, they dive into the trees and disappear as 'Delta Tango's engine explodes. It goes down, hitting the rock face as it falls and breaks up.
The remaining three C21's and the samson open fire on Bill, who manages to take out one last C21, before being hit again and exploding in a violent fireball falling as debris to the forest bellow.

Forest.
A warrior is hiding behind a tree stump, a group of humans, ten or so are advancing on him, every time he looks round the tree another withering blast of machine gun fire greets him, he's trapped, no where to go.
An arrow takes out a trooper, but guns are fired at the Na'vi who fired it, they fall from the tree, motionless.
Another movement in a bush and another warrior is killed, the guy hiding behind the tree sees exactly what is happening, gets ready, and runs away from the tree towards another tree, he nearly makes it before his luck runs out. More arrows are fired, another two troopers are taken out, but three amp suits follow up from behind and take over the fighting. The Na'vi fall back, the amps and troopers advance, firing. Another Na'vi falls, then another. the last of this group makes it to a tree she can climb, she disappears into the tree tops and despite much firing up at where she must be, she is not seen.
Amp, still looking up "Looks like she got away. OK, move out."
Elsewhere in the forest.
A large group of  20 or so Na'vi are being pursued by troopers and amp's. the Na'vi are not getting very far.
We see one Na'vi aftr another falling finally there are only 4.
This is a route.

Field hospital.
Neytiri enters the clearing carrying the wounded human, passes the cages, one of the prisoners in a cage calls out "What happened to you?"
One of the assisted walking wounded calls back "Viper wolves."
One of the warriors helping them, in accented English, kind of casually "Would have been killed and eaten, if the savages hadn't saved your short, pink, tail-less" changes to Na'vi "rear ends."
One operating table is empty, Neytiri lays her prisoner on it.
Mo'at looks him over, Max and Cindy too.
Mo'at "He'll live." as Cindy hooks him up to a drip.
The more or less walking wounded are sat in the triage area. Cindy comes out to look them over. Another female human, acting as a nurse joins Cindy, the two women start cleaning and dressing the wounds.
Moat treats to a few minor flesh wounds on the warriors, but nothing is serious.
There is the sound of gunfire from the tree line, an avatar crumple and falls to the ground. The other avatars return fire, but are gunned down as the single gunner is joined by others.
Another Avatar falls, then a third.
Neytiri and the other warriors take their bows and return fire.
Mo'at in Na'vi "Take cover, move to the tree's."
The Warriors and avatars run for cover, another avatar goes down, then one of Neytiri's group, the lead avatar makes it in to the tree's, where he is met by three troopers hiding in the bushes, he drops his gun, another avatar joins them and has to put down her gun. More troopers appear at intervals around the clearing, the hospital is surrounded.
The med crew are continuing with surgery on the two troopers still on the operating tables a trooper comes in and holds a pistol to the head of the surgeon as she is sewing up an internal organ.
"Surrender, Put that down, and get outside, right now."
Surgeon "I will do no such thing. How dare you come into my theater in the middle of a delicate procedure, nurse escort him out."
Nurse clearly scared "I'm sorry sir you will have to wait out side."
Trooper "We will take him to Hell's Gate, he'll get treatment there."
The nurse moves toward the trooper. The trooper points his gun at the middle of the nurses fore head, and pulls the trigger a moment to late, as the surgeon grabs his arm and lifts it so that the bullet passes over the head of the terrified nurse.
Surgeon "This is an outrage. You will allow my team and I to complete the surgery on your colleagues."
The surgeon squeezes the wrist and the pistol falls from his hand, the nurse uses surgical forceps to put it in the surgical waste bin, as the surgeon throws the trooper out. One of the walking wounded attacked by the nantang puts his foot out so that he falls flat on his face, the other places both feet on his back as a foot rest.
The human prisoners are swapped with the captured Na'vi into the cages, as they do so a group of maybe eight or nine captured Na'vi are marched out of the tree's, and also loaded into the cages, this includes Jake. but Jake, Neytiri and Mo'at are separated.

Scene 29

Forest.
Peyral and her group of warriors are engaged in close fighting with some troopers plus an amp.
All are taking cover, behind trees and rocks.
An arrow takes out a trooper, but the other troopers return fire and a warrior is hit and taken down, followed by another warrior.
Peyral's arrow takes out another trooper, but a bullet grazes her thigh, and a second makes a small cut across the side of her abdomen, before she ducks behind her tree again. She looks up the tree, there is a branch that would give her better a shot than where she is, she climbs the tree.
The last of her warriors fires an arrow at the last foot trooper, but as it is in flight the human fires back, they take each other out.
Now it is just Peyral against the Amp, Peyral is soon out of arrows.
She runs along the branch under fire, she runs to the end where it has broken off she leaps to another branch, she just catches it, and swings her self up. More gunfire, rounds screaming past heras she runs on, the amp still following, and still firing every time there is any chance of hitting her, another leap to another branch, here is an arrow stuck into the top of the branch, she pulls at it. It snaps, just behind the tip, she fires it anyway, it bounces uselessly off the armored visors top window, right above the drivers face. The amp fires back.
Flying, the outcast, still as Turok Makto, is nearly hit by this latest salvo. He looks down and and fires at the amp. Click. He's out of ammo, Toruk dives down.
Peyral leaps again, but the branch she lands on gives way as it is hit by a round from the GAU 90. She falls, the branch hangs down, held by splinters. The amp strides forward.
Toruk pierces the canopy, full speed. Peyral lands, on her feet, but it's a heavy landing. The amp raises its gun as Peyral stands.
Toruk, tallons reach out forward as it sweeps in to the amp. close up of the muzzle of the GAU 90 pointed directly at Peyrals back.
Camera pans along the gun, up to the drivers face, he is looking a little crazed. In slow we see the reflection of Toruk close in and just as it is about to grab the amp.
We see the recoil of the gun in the movement of the arm and suit, as Tuoruk catches it.
Film returns to normal speed.
Toruk climbs with a struggling amp dangling bellow it. 'Jake' does a backwards roll to dismount, we see his front and get a good look at his face, as he turns over we see his back and then his front again, his face is now that of the outcast. He lands a short distance from where Peyral is lying, she is face down, and motionless apart from her breathing, it is shallow and labored.
Outcast, turns her over "No, no, no. Not on my shift."
Close up on Peyral's face, screwed up in pain, eyes closed. She takes another breath, shallow and labored like the last.
Close up on Peyral's right hand, it is a clenched fist.
Close up on Peyral's face, still screwed up in pain, eyes still closed. She takes another breath, shallower and more labored than the last.
Long pause. She takes another breath, even shallower and even more labored than the last.
Longer pause. Another breath very shallow, very labored.
Horribly long pause. Another breath very, very shallow, still very labored.
Sickeningly long pause. Another breath, but barely a breath.
Another sickeningly long pause, Another breath, more the intention of a breath, than an actual breath, the face relaxes, but the eye's remain closed.
Close up on Peyral's right hand, it is now a tremblingly tight clenched fist, flushed pink. It relaxes, and is still. The camera stay's on it for several seconds.
Close up on Peyral's face, eyes still closed.
Sickeningly long pause. Another intention of a breath.
Another agonizingly long pause. Another breath, barely a breath, but still a breath.
Horribly long pause. Another breath still very, very shallow, still very labored, but a touch deeper and less labored than the last.
Long pause. Another breath still very, very shallow, still very labored, but again a little deeper and less labored than the one before.
The pained look returns to her face.
Another breath still shallow, still labored, but definitely deeper and less labored this time.
Long pause, Another breath, almost a full breath, but still labored.
Her eyes open. Peyral suddenly half sits, half rolls onto her side, she is coughing and panting.
Outcast, in english, mostly to himself "No truncal ataxia, that's good."
Peyral in Na'vi "For a moment, I thought I was dead."
Outcast in Na'vi "For a moment, so did I."
Outcast holds up his TV remote thing, in english "This isn't meant for this, so it's a bit of a lash up in there." points the TV remote thing at ribcage. "But it'll hold. Now, lets get you some proper med care." outcast helps Peyral to her feet "If you get any numbness or pain, you feel dizzy or light headed at all, let me know right away."
Peyral looks at outcast blankly.
Outcast in Na'vi "If anything feels different, strange or wrong, tell me."
Peyral flashes a momentary annoyed expression, it passes.
Peyral, in English, very slightly annoyed "I understood what you said." pause, kind of contemplatively "I'm just coming to terms with what just happened."

Largest chamber Pandoran Human's base.
Standing in front of a C21, panel's are off, maintenance hatches open. It has guns, but no missile racks fitted. Stan and Trudy are both wearing exopacks.
Stan to Trudy "Yes it flies, but we haven't had time to make it fly by remote control, you would really be out there. If your shot down this time, you'll probably be with Eywa before you know it."
Trudy "I know. How soon can I have it."
Stan "Around an hour, maybe a touch more."
Trudy "If I help?"
Stan "Hour and a half."
Trudy gestures with her hands "Fine. I'll be back in an hour."
Trudy walks away.
After a moment, Stan turns to the other tech's, "You heard the crazy b****."
Trudy still walking away calls back half over her shoulder "Heard that."
There is a flutter as a flock of Ikrans glide into the chamber, they land. The female leader of the eastern sea tribe in her red and yellow paint dismounts, as does another member of the tribe.
Female leader speaks in Na'vi.
Her aide translates into accented english, "We heard that you were having a party. As we were not invited, we decided we would gate crash it anyway."
Trudy in Na'vi "I understood. I learned Na'vi."
The two look at each other.
Trudy, in Na'vi "Come."
Cut to the new control center. Trudy, her brother, the Air traffic controller, a couple of others and six members of the eastern sea tribe, the female leader, her aide, and four others, all in endo-packs they look uncomfortable in them. All are looking at the battle on the 3D projector table. Grace augustine is leaning across and into the table. Camera is head on to Grace, but moving very slowly around the table behind those leaning on it so it is invisible some of the time.
Grace, in Na'vi "We are being hammered along here," she gestures to part of the map, "and along here." she indicates to another part of the map "They were never supposed to get as far as here," She points to the clearing with the field hospital "but they are there now."
Trudy's brother in accented Na'vi "We really need help here and here" indicates the first two places that grace mentioned "but we need them to find and capture this place," points to the shack "It's a" pause "Err," in english to Grace "strategic sacrifice?"
Grace translates into un-subtitled Na'vi.
The camera passes behind one of the Eastern sea tribe and as it passes beyond them, we see Grace side on. She stops at the edge of the table.
Trudy's brother in accented Na'vi "Any questions?"
There are none.
Grace in english "Some one give them some outcast arrows, or they're wasting there time."
Trudy in english "I'm on it."
Grace in english "I need to get back and keep watch, as it's the only thing I'm any damn good for now. Take care out there you guy's." She looks at the Na'vi "Eywa Ngahu."
Grace pulls back and stands up right, she disappears as she passes beyond the table's edge.

Field hospital clearing.
Someone baring a remarkable resemblance to Tsu'tey comes running out of the tree's draws his knife, and readies to strike down those guarding Jake, Neytiri and Mo'at.
He gets within twenty feet before he is gunned down. His body is face down, but we can see something black attached to one wrist.
Surgery on the badly wounded man is completed. the surgeon and his team are now herded into the cages too a line of troopers forms up loosely, in front of the cages. Mo'at Neytiri and Jake are taken to one side. Jake sees exactly what is going to happen, he goes to move forward but the group holding them aim their guns at all three.
Jake shouts "No!"
Trooper who was going to shoot the nurse "Lars said 'scorched earth', nobody lives."
The loose line of troopers in front of the cages forms up into a line, guns pointed down, but each is ready now.
One of the wounded but just about walking from the nantang attack limps out of his line. Nobody else moves or makes a sound, but everybody here watches him.
Trooper who was going to shoot the nurse "Get back in line or you'll face a court marshal."
He isn't listening and limps on, in front of the firing line. He falls, another former prisoner runs over to help him, its the guy who said 'I didn't expect this from the blue stripy's.' in scene 26. They both now stand in front of the cages and face the firing squad.
Trooper who was going to shoot the nurse "Fine, you can both be shot with the rest of the traitors. Ready."
The firing squad take up stance, except one who put his gun across his back and marches smartly over to the two standing against the squad, takes up position, turns smartly as if on drill in the parade ground, places a finger tips on the shoulder of the wounded man and adjusts his spacing accordingly, then faces front smartly.
Trooper who was going to shoot the nurse "Aim."
Another former prisoner moves forward, as he starts another two follow his lead, followed by another,
One of the troopers guarding Jake, Neytiri and Mo'at, slings his gun across his shoulder, marches across to the man giving the orders and as he is about to shout something beginning with 'f'
"SIR. I Will Not Be A Party To This War Crime. SIR" he turns on his heel and marches over to join the line standing in front the cages facing the firing squad.
Another dozen or so walking wounded and ex-prisoners join too. Another member of the firing squad puts his gun across his back, marches forward, turns and takes up position in the line facing the firing squad, now two deep.
Someone at the back of which calls "Attention."
All immediately stand to attention.
Trooper who was going to shoot the nurse shouts "FIRE."
Nobody moves a muscle.
Screaming "I SAID: FIRE!"
A single shot rings out, but the squad's guns have remained unused.
The trooper who was going to shoot the nurse falls to his knees, then falls forward onto his face.
"SIR. I Will Not Be A Party To This War Crime Either. SIR"
Say's a trooper standing behind where the dead man had stood, he drops his pistol on the ground, marches to the nearest cage and lets himself in and closes the door behind him.
We hear the sound of fast approaching aircraft.
Firing squad member at the end nearest the dead man slings his gun across his back as he turns to face the rest of his squad "Stand Down. Stand down."
The squad lower their guns.
As the 4 remaining Sec-For aircraft land in the clearing this new man in charge goes forward to meet Magnus, who wastes no time in exiting the smoking C21.
Magnus "What happened here."
Both turn and make for the hospital tent.
Acting OIC "SIR. Captured the enemies forward base of opporations. SIR."
Magnus "Excellent job sergeant." as they come across the body of the man who wold have massacred his prisoners, Magnus points to the body.
Acting OIC "Accidental discharge of a weapon, faulty side arm, Sir, tragic."
All look at him, nobody say's a word. there is a  pause and we only hear the engines spooling down.
Magnus "Lars said 'scorched earth', nobody lives. I want a ..... "
Magnus trails off as he looks at the acting OIC shaking his head gently.
Magnus looks again at the scene, cages full of Na'vi and 'traitors', a line of armed men in front of them guns pointing down, and the line of assorted men in between. Some still facing the firing squad, some now facing Magnus, all looking at Magnus, every body in the clearing is looking at Magnus.
Magnus looks again at the dead body on the ground for several moments. He is visibly shocked to the core by what he now realizes has actually taken place here.
Magnus, subdued "I see."
After a couple of seconds he sighs very deeply and continues. He looks again at the acting OIC.
Magnus, subdued "I see." pauses, then addresses the men, he shouts "OK, anyone not staying behind on the transports, right now."
All except those who had stood against the firing squad now load into the C21's including Jake, Neytiri and Mo'at, and the body of the man who would have shot the nurse, on a stretcher, under a blanket, and a few into the Samson.
Magnus is last, when he is the only person not staying and not on board, he looks over to those staying.
He boards, the engines spool up and the aircraft depart.
Peyral enters the clearing to watch them go.
When they have gone the dead body of Tsu'tey rolls over and gets up, but it's not Tsu'tey now, its the outcast.
