The Doctor Meets R2-D2

http://www.slashfilm.com/2010/06/15/lol-avatar-stormtrooper-helmet/

A new fan-fic crossover.  Coming in December.

EDIT: The date is a shifting target.  I am getting busy at work, and coming home late.  Sorry.

Hmm........explain?

I was inspired by unrelated cos-play posing in photos together.

I figured I would give a visual.

The Doctor repairing R2-D2, A Sith Posing with Westley Crusher, a Na'vi Jedi posing with a Na'vi, storm troopers checking a Na'vi for immigration status.

Notice the one weapon in a position that merges the crossovers the most... the Light-saber Batleth in Jakes hand?  Just to give you an idea of how oddly my mind has been effected by what I have seen.

The potential for a story is there.  I am working on other stuff right now, so I figured I would put out this Photo-manip as kind of a way to get inside my head on this.  The first chapter is on hold until I finish some other stuff first.

I am going to put some serious thought into the story, and pick characters I think of as interesting to have present.

yes do so

Coming soon to a thread post near you. =P

I want to make it quality, not just random crap, there needs to be a build up for the story to be worth reading, and I have to place a bit of exposition on the twisting of cannon into this new reality.

Solid proof that Avatar and star wars does not blend together that good.

They are very different forms of story telling because of their authors, not because of their history.

The helmet just looked a bit silly in my opinion. Your story idea is good.

I agree on the helmet.

Although, in the discussions about the times leading up to and during the Thrawn Trilogy books.  A common thought is that the Storm Troopers who were disillusioned, where in the habit of painting their helmets, hearkening back to the days of the The Mandalorians roots of the original clones.  It is partly why it has become a tradition with the 501st to think of art projects with the bucket.
