As I had some trouble and some lost WUs during the migration to the new version from v.6 to v.7, I guess I'll stick to the current version, which brings in 20k+ ppd. And, I don't need that slider... folding full throttle 24/7, you know.  ;)

Also probably not going to bother with the update. Getting 15-20k ppd and don't really want to mess with it.

As for losing WUs...I lost both an SMP & and a GPU unit the other day, but it was caused by me forgetting to stop the client before setting my clock 20 years into the future to test something I'm coding.

We had a power outage and my main server didn't come back conline :( I have to wait until the weekend to fix this as I need physical access to the machine. I should rent a server or at least some rack space to place my own machine there. It's ridiculous how often my whole site is offline...

Kaltxì ayngaru!

I noticed that between the Extreme OC folding and the Folding@Home (Standford website) has 'big' differences.

Extreme OC folding  Folding@Home
1,563,276 Points1,418,384 Points
338 WU318 WU

That normal? ???

Edit:
Current the page has updated the stats. Now it is actual. (after some days)

The official stats site has inaccurate values sometimes. To be honest, I didn't have a look at the official stats page for quite a long time now ^^

Kaltxì ayngaru!

I just would ask, which traffic f@h will cause?

This I'm asking, because in Germany the Telekom plans to sale new tariffs. These new tarriffs are a big joke, because they want to limit the internet speed after reaching a specific traffic volumes down to 384kb/s!  >:( >:( >:(
For Example: I have a VDSL 50Mb/s (~6MB/s) and my traffic volume would be 200GB/month. If I will cause more traffic than 200GB in a month, the Telekom will reduce the speed down to 384kb/s ( = 48kB). WTF?! :o >:(

Sorry, I'm a bit pissed of Telekom's new plans...

f@h's traffic is no problem at all. A WU generates around 5 MByte of data total traffic (up and download).

And German Telekom's PROPOSED traffic limit is only effective, when you make a new contract.
All existing customers are not effected.

Right, but they proposed to cancel contracts at 2016 too. *click* I know I might search for other provider, but it isn't well. :(

But Irayo for your info! :)

yay. Awesomer milestone!!!  It feels cool to be part of the 100mi club.

BTW: I have to announce that I will be offline from around Jul 16 until Sep 1, due to a vacation. When I am back, everything will be back to normal 24/7 folding. So, try to catch me up. *Whispers: don't you dare do that.* :p

Hi,
I tried to set up a GTX275 in a linux machine, but it did not receive any WU. According to this blog entry no Core11 units are currently available, which is what I understand that GPU usually runs. Is the assumption correct I would have to wait for the servers to return or someone else has an idea what might be going on?

Sounds like they are still having issues with this. The newer GPUs (CUDA 2.x and up) receive different WUs (different core) but I haven't heard of any issues yet. Although I'm not folding for quite some time now (too expensive :()

Just 2x E5-2650 v2. But still pretty neat ;D

Tìtstewan

Not bad. But kinda expensive...only one CPU costs $1k... :-X
That machine must be a beast!
