What race should I pick for the Na'viya in World of Warcraft?

Night Elves
24 (50%)
Draenei
19 (39.6%)
Trolls [a LONG shot, believe me]
5 (10.4%)

Yea, as for the old days I miss them really badly, and the new content wiping out most of the old content is gonna make me quite sad as well.... If anybody here does remember the old MC and Naxx40 days, you get what Ark said I am sure, as well I bet you remember DKP and how good it really felt to get just 1 item...  WoW has become super casual in my opinion, but as for things... I really haven't seen any of the people on Undermine playing lately whats up with that? lol :P <3
When college takes up all your time... What can you really do?

Sure....Iam sad that I miss the classic times. But in BC I had great fun. Beginn to Raid Karazhan some time ago after I reach 70.
Beginn to wipe at Atumen.
And finaly was there the kill of Felmyst in Sunwell. It was a really great time. You meet so much ppl. With some I played for over two years togehter.
But this times will never come back :(

Yeah you right Ikabob, its to easy to get new, good Items. I remember how hard it was, you Raid some weeks and then, one Item that you want and get it for your earned dkp and you are totaly happy.
And today...It ins't the same. As "hardcore" Gamer it makes you sad that you can see that everybody can easy get anything...
You can buy tier Items from Npc...no comment.

People which wasen't in BC able to clear Karazhan now have T9 and T10....
Sure for the Casuals this is maybe great, but if you want to spend much time in the game, it's sad.
I remeber how happy I was after we clear Kara, or SSC. And finaly the Illidan Kill. Such feelings you don't have today.
Every Boss kill in BC was great and I was totaly happy after the kill. The Raid work hard for it and it was fun.=)
But well...we can't chanche it, but I think Blizzard ruins the game with this way. But this is just what I thining.

Somehow I knew there would be people that played too :P

I'm on US-Earthen Ring Alliance; just look for someone from <The Riddle of Steel> and ask for Vowels (I have quite a few alts) if you want to contact me. I'd be highly amused and pretty excited if you guys wanted to roll on ER. (It's an RP realm, but the RP is somewhat muted. The server/battlegroup favors Horde pretty heavily for WG/BGs if that matters at all to you)

Unfortunately, I don't think I'd want to level again before Cataclysm, but maybe I'll roll something on Undermine to talk :D

As far as Epics in Wrath, I really don't think it's that huge of a deal. We're certainly not top-tier, but we were 3/6 SWP before 3.0 and we're currently 10/12 HM ICC25. You just have to remember that people of all sorts play the game, and giving people raid epics (Tier sets take forever to get if you don't actually raid) doesn't magically make them good players. It's a good equalizer, of sorts, and I was dissapointed that they moved away from that inclusive system with Arena sets in Wrath. You can still easily get much better gear than casuals, and much more easily and at a faster rate if you raid.

That said, Aylrrtok ayngaru with this!

I am really considering going to US - Icecrown (ally), after a talk with my friend that works at the same place I work, I kept telling him it would be pretty expensive for me to move around 10 characters across 3 accounts to icecrown, so I offered him, he has problems making gold, so I said I'd be willing to help and ask him if he would cover if i wanted to move, afterall I got around 7 guild banks on my current server so moving isnt quite easy

I just searched on both the european and american Armory's.
I'm surprised noone has made a night elf druid called "Meoauniaea". Either that or they're not above lvl 10.
Anyway, I made one. :D

I have not seen any activity going on. Haven't even seen anything on Kirti either.

It has been a really long time.   :-X Few months actually.  I regret that I have not been active at all, and I have no excuse but I have so much going on that I thought I'd log on and make sure that if there are those who still read this and are interested know what's up.

My family has basically been split in half, and due to several complications, we have had to leave the home that I lived in for about ~7 years. During that time, due to school and work, any other time I had left I had to dedicate to being a mentally impenetrable post against all this drama. I actually discontinued my use of WoW because I did not have time to play it at all, and did not feel the use of my 15 dollars being thrown out as really desirable.

That being said, we have now moved and I live more down south now, and while life has sort of settled here, I find that I can no longer afford to continue on as I have been. I am in the process of looking for a better job, so that I can finally quit my career in retail and actually work under my degree [I graduate in less than half a year]. Due to now accelerating learning about Linux and programming languages, I do not have time to study Japanese or, regretfully, the beautiful language of Na'vi. I hope that this changes sometime within the next year.

Please don't hate me for being absent for so long. I did not create this thread for the sake of just knowing which of us Na'vi play WoW, nor to throw the guildhood onto Lightna.  I just barely have any time right now.  I appreciate all of you [hopefully] understanding my situation and the changes to my life that I want to bring, and [hopefully] will be back soon. This is not a goodbye, just merely a long absence.

I have also been away for a while - no specific reasons.

I'm really sorry to hear all this, of course you do not need to apologize to us.
It will be probably take some time for you until things have completely settled again, I hope you will start feeling better soon ;(

Alli Kargath. :) Playing a Draenei Shaman - what else. Gotta love me the giant blue space creatures ;) Look up Kintai while you're there.

I'm still for doing this project and I'll attempt to bear the weight but I will need people to help manage a guild as from I learned from experience that I am incapable of leading a guild by myself. I certainly hope that we can get this going and hopefully I can begin brushing up on my Na'vi. DX

I hope to see you all in the world and hopefully we can get this project started as we have originally intended. And since the Cataclysm landscapes are out, I may be leveling my hunter more. Who knows. ::)

If anyone is curious to what I have been up to, I've been on my shaman and death knight to prepare for Cataclysm. Some of these projects are, but not limited to:

  • Earning gold to fly in Azeroth (250g)
  • Burning through instances for justice points and achievements (the achievement list has narrowed down to Amber Void and Dehydration on my shaman)
  • Using said justice points to acquire much needed T10 gear for my tank (Death Knight) and healer (shaman) so that I am properly prepared for Cataclysm
  • Raiding Icecrown Citadel and weeklys along with Vault of Archavon
  • Burning through Glory of the Hero achieves to get the Red-Proto drake

Kaltxì. I play on Draeno (sp?), an EU server. Anyone having a guild or willing to start a guild with me on alliance there?

I have three characters
Alliance:
Gìsle - Night Elf - Balanced druid - level 25
Tstaltu - Draenei - Fury warrior - level 13
Horde:
GrønnFaen - Orc - Rogue - level 7

The ì in my NElf's name is just because the name without the grave accent was not vacant. Tstaltu is a quite good DPS imo. Gísle was a decent healer - before they nerfed the healing on low level druids.

Kaltxì,

I played WoW hehe.

I develop servers of WoW, I know it's prohibited, but with this, I learned a lot!
