Call of Duty Black Ops

Well....CoD6 expected us to pay 59.99€ for it and then as little worth it as it is, they sell 4-5 maps for 15€. Even Avatar, the game offered more single player than CoD, which was done in an afternoon. And only Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed and a few other 20h+ single player games are worth 49.99$/€. Dragon Age offers a 45 hour single player, CoD offers 6-7, or 10 at most....but one shall not expect much of an FPS, but taking 59.99$/€ for that is just crazy. The multiplayer is what CoD relies on. And on top of this, we pay 15$/€ for some maps...

This game is activision and not infinity wards, so it might actually be good, but far from 59.99.

I'm not paying 59.99€ again, but I'll consider it if it ever goes below 50%, because no CoD game is worth more than 29.99, which is a reasonable price.

Just my opinion though, not stated facts.

Activision are the ones publishing it.
Its tryarch (or something like that) and infinity ward who are making them and COD4 was better than 5 just then infinity ward managed to make a rip off priced game that wasn't nearly as good as the old one.
tbh thinking about it I doubt I'll by it unless I see it dirt cheap.

You almost got it right, its TreyArch, but CoD5 was the first Call of Duty I got, I was thinking should I buy CoD4 or CoD5, but when I say the zombies I thought, I'll buy CoD5, the extra maps I got from a friend, the only thing he wanted in return was PAIN and I bought that a game while ago. ( Don't buy it from PS Store, buy the full game in the store ( if you want it )

So after 2 months I got bored of it, I have that with every game, not all, but like 90% of my games. The first month I mostly play SP and little bit of MP and the next month I mostly play MP and little bit SP.

So, a month after those 2 months I got CoD4 GOTY edition for my birthday, my thoughts about this game were a little bit different after playing CoD5 first, but that sniper mission in CoD4 still remains my favorite ! ( The one were you sneak around everyone and you only about 8 bullets to complete the mission, yea I know, 8 bullets sounds much for that mission )

And at the end of that year I got MW2 Hardened Edition, which also included Call of Duty Classic, it took me longer to complete Call of Duty Classic then I did for MW2.

In the same month I bought 2 other brand new games on the launch-day. I had too much money then, but I had enough left for Christmas to buy presents

So first playing MW2 and finished and I thought.
This is it? Not even cheats for all the enemy intel!?
And playing MW2 on veteran is also very easy. Also, 3 days after the release, the first few people already reached lvl 70.

IMO CoD4 has a better SP then MW2, althought some mission were okay in MW2.

About the map packs, if I would buy them I would pay €5 per map in one map pack! Since I already have the CoD4 and those aren't new. So I wasn't go to buy those.

After waking up at 1.30 pm ( I went to sleep at 2 am ) I checked my mail and saw that the CoD: BO Prestige and Hardened edition is available

Hardened Edition:

- Call of Duty: Black Ops full game ( wow! the full game, how awesome it that, we never had that before! )
- Premium, special-edition SteelBook™ case ( wow! SteelBook case, now I can see if it has scratches on it ! )
- Limited edition Black Ops collector's medal w/display case ( so you can show-off )
- 4 additional co-op maps not included in the standard edition of the game ( hmmmm... 'co-op' maps, what would that might be, some nubs think its the W@W zombies maps, boy are they stupid, who would pay an extra $20,- for 4 potential zombie maps? Txureyktan maybe? .... )
- Special Black Ops Xbox Live or PlayStation Home avatar outfit ( also for showing-off )


Prestige Edition:

The Prestige Edition is what every hardcore Call of Duty fan needs. It includes everything in the Hardened Edition, along with a real remote-control vehicle modeled after the in-game RC-XD killstreak reward! The RC-XD's features include:

- Video & audio sent wirelessly to remote transmitter (200 ft. range) ( to show-off )
- 2" backlit TFT 220 x176 color screen built into RC controller ( to see where you going, for probably whose eyes are not that good, probably )
- Digital proportional steering and throttle ( you hear that folks! digital proportional! No idea what it means and I dont care )
- Independent suspension ( .......... )
- High and low speed settings ( isn't their a normal speed setting ? )
- Custom pistol grip style RC controller ( and what if I want a normal grip for an RC controller ? )
- Display stand ( for when not using it and being a show-off with it )

And the RC remote vehicles doesn't include the C4 so you can't blow it up

Personally I think the MP will be a lot better now with the cod points and such, and the new gametypes, much better than MW2

What possibillites are there for third party maps/mods? I disliked paying 60 bucks for a game with a set amount of maps and pay 15$ for a pack of 4....evil capitalsim!! And on top of that, only an afternoone of SP campaign.

Multiplayer seems to be the only thing they really care about nowadays.

Mods and map tools I'm petty sure they're only doing for pc 

But, I'm still looking forward to the campaign too, especially since people say its more spec ops type missions than just run n gun stuff from MW

The first few cods were MoH clones.

And the old Medal of honours were one hell of a lot better than cod.
(Not the last few MoHs... but we'll forget about them)

But this Monday will be the Open Beta of MoH, so I can see if this will be good or bad. It does have an MP7 in it

but I'm thinking, if you go to www.gknova6.com, there's a bunch of what look like security camera monitors showing zombies everywhere, and up in the top left there's a zombie trying to get in, so it looks like some kind of facility. dont know for sure though

my money is it being a hospital.

Look at the screens.
some of the zombies look like former doctors to me and some of the corridors look like hospital ones. and it fits in if you think of it seriously with aid from the zombie survival guide.

EDIT: and I bet also it's a russian (or similar countries) hospital
