Yeah, I know what you mean. I had to wait for ME2 and Bioshock 2 which are some of my favorite franchises. I've already paid Skyrim off though.

Yea, I only got around 800 on the bank, which is not that much. And there are going to be some things I am going to buy, like a laptop, so I'll be down another 400 and with Christmas buying presents I'll also be down between 100 -150. Then also buying Battlefield and Uncharted is down another 120. ( I think I am going to buy BF3 with some coupons, so it will only cost me 40 euros when I buy it )

Why did you dislike Oblivion? Also, have you played Fallout 3? Skyrim is essentially a slightly improved Oblivion with Fallout 3 features.

I found the controls and interface to be a bit intimidating and clumsy. And when I finally got a bit into it (temple on mountain methinks), I had to reformat my computer and the motivation to restart is not there.

I like what I have seen of the Skyrim E3 gameplay vid actually. Definetly buying that game when it comes out in november.

Well, here the price for Skyrim when it comes out is $109.95AU I paid $108AU for CE so, who got the better deal here.

I fotgot my post here, but I've finally got someone that would help me a bit to get me started and now I don't get owned and killed all the time and I actually like the game, I am definetly going to buy Skyrim, even the trailer's music alone would convince me.

Isn't it amazing to be in a class full of nerds? :p

I am really stoked for this game!
I'm a complete Oblivion/FO3/Morrowind geek... I never got into New Vegas, but I've watched others play it, so that's cool I guess.
I found that Oblivion on the PC was pretty clumsy, but I loved the mods, which made up for it.

Its not just a slightly better Oblivion... its completely revamped!  I hope it has some aspects like from Fable in it, which it sounds like it does.
Its like, a little over a month away...
