in the trailer I can see some cars is from San Andreas

and If you see on the license plate, it stands San Andreas

I hope it is the full map of San Andreas, not just Los Santos, but San Fierro and Las Venturas, that will be so super cool :D

In the trailer it looks like some of the map is changed, definitely the mountain, it was no mountain in Los Santos, a big mountain in near San Fierro, Mount Chiliad

and look at the mountain in the trailer, super high :)
Think in the game, you need to climb up the whole way up there, It will feel like a dream

I even hope you can style cars, in San Andreas you could do that. And fly planes, because in GTA IV you couldn't do that

Unfortunately many crazy smart journalists and gamers have dissected the trailer and find it very likely that we WON'T be seeing San Fierro and Las Venturas. This isn't confirmed though, to the best of my knowledge.

Rockstar Games Announcement of Grand Theft Auto V

Good News: GTA V will be set in Los Santos with countryside, surrounding hills and beaches

Bad news: the two other cities San Fierro and Las Venturas will not be in GTA V, because the game will be too big, RG announces

Here is the whole news:

We are very proud to officially announce that Grand Theft Auto V is in full development.

Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V heads to the city of Los Santos and surrounding hills, countryside and beaches in the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created.

A bold new direction in open-world freedom, storytelling, mission-based gameplay and online multiplayer, Grand Theft Auto V focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar in a re-imagined, present day Southern California.

Reputation Flooding Around Grand Theft Auto V:

link: From norwegian gaming news site spill.no

English play writer praises the forum:
The first trailer for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V from Rockstar Games was launched last week, and the internet is full of rumors about the upcoming game. A handful of rumors that have been given more weight than the others come from gtaforums.com, where a guy who claims he works for a British games magazine has obtained exclusive information.

Possible spoilers:
The guy claims that the magazine he works for has been with Rockstar to look at the upcoming game, and that the article is printed in the January edition of the magazine. He further claims that all the info he has come from conversations with the editors who have seen the game. Whether the guy just tall tales and making it up or if the information is real, we know not. But we give up any opportunity to check out his statements here. NB, potential spoilers for Game Play Mechanics!

- The game will only take place in Los Santos (not in the entire San Andreas), but in return the city four times bigger than Liberty City.

- You can also visit the area around the city, including forests, factories, beaches, mountains, etc.

- New animations have been recorded for battle scenes

- There is more climbing in the game than before.

- It will pop up animals in the game, but it is uncertain whether the player can damage or kill them

- Planes will be playable

- There will be many more indoor locations to explore: shopping centers, schools, police station, hospitals and sewage plant

- Cars can be upgraded and repaired, and you may need to refuel gasoline

- It will not be dates, but the person still has a cell phone that is used to communicate with

- New weapons, flamethrower, remote-controlled mines, laser-controlled mines and Claymore. You can also use random objects as weapons and break into a museum to steal medieval weapons

- You can shoot the petrol tank of a car running light on fuel that has leaked out, and the flames will catch up to the car and blow it

- Minigames are removed or added. You can play basketball, weight training, wrestling, gambling, fighting in a cage, delat in triathlon, racing on the water, canoeing, rock climbing, base jumping and jumping on skis. More activities will be confirmed later.

- You can dress up their avatar in the form of clothes and weight of the main character, but one can not choose skin color, age, height, etc.

- Burglary Mission might come back, but then as their own missions and do not stand up to break in anywhere

- You encounter only adult in the game, no children

- You can grab people and use them as shields in the firing sequences

- More realistic police: you don't get a star if you kill someone without witnesses. The police will use smoke and tear gas, dogs, riot gear and battering rams to break into the buildings you have hidden yourself in

- You can go into buildings and lock the door or barricade it behind you

- The main character is better in the actions you do often. If you drive a lot of motorcycle you become better at driving a motorcycle.

- Weapons can be modified, and you can also create your own weapons

- Some assignments may be modified by the player, and it will also appear home-made assignments

- Earthquakes may occur in the game

As I looking, a lot of people have done these steps, of course this beta must be a fake

RG should say it first, not other sites

I bet it is a lot of virus on the beta file, possibly something else

All GTA fans, hang out till may, then it will come more details about GTA V in may about 3 months after Max Payne 3 is released

This is what R* said:

"First of all, we’d like to again thank you and everyone out there for the amazing response to the debut Grand Theft Auto V trailer. We know that there are a ton of questions you all have about the game, including release date and lots else.
Right now, we are very hard at work on the game and are excited as well to show and tell you more as development progresses - expect that we'll be talking much more about GTAV starting at some point in a few months’ time.
Please hang tight until then and thank you all for your patience and support!"
