Been waiting for this for a very long time, especially that it will be released for PC. I was about to lose hope for Rockstar Games.

Tsanten Eywa 'eveng

Oh yeah indeed!!!!
Rockstar has improved the graphics for the next-gen consoles. Hope it is the same for PC aswell since i have already pre-ordered the PC version of GTA5
GTA 5 Trailer Comparision (PS4, PC, XBOX ONE vs XBOX360 & PS3)

Tìtstewan

I knew why I decided to waid for the PC version. You will be also able to make awesome videos (it will have an integrated video editor)
I have only the fear, that it will need a better graphics card. I do really hope that they will not screw up the PC version like GTA 4...

New update today for GTA Online. Vehicle, weapons and more. You can also get the vehicles and the weapons in single player aswell.
http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52264/The-GTA-Online-I-m-Not-a-Hipster-Update-Is-Now-Available

Express your incredible individualism and stand out from the herd with The post ironic, artisanal, organic, entirely independent, 100% re-claimed "I'm Not a Hipster" Update now available for Grand Theft Auto Online. This new content update features new retro print tees, skinny jeans, hairstyles, tattoos, animal masks and more, as well as additional enhancements to general gameplay to ensure the world is constantly evolving.

Choose from seven new vehicles including classic nostalgia rides like the Glendale, Warrener, Blade and Rhapsody – affordable cars that seem casual on the surface, but have hidden potential to be unleashed with a few modifications. The environmentally conscious set can check out the Panto microcar, while those looking to roll with their Crew in more ostentatious style can add the massive 3-axel, 6-seater Dubsta (unlocks at Rank 100) to their fleet.

Even Ammu-Nation is getting in on the latest non-ironic trends with the Vintage Pistol and Antique Cavalry Dagger now in stock. Make sure to try all these out in the slew of new Jobs, as part of your long arduous journey to become one of Los Santos' effortlessly cool.

Along with today's update, gear up for 12 new Jobs across an assortment of game modes, including Races that provide showcase opportunities for these new retro rides, a Deathmatch in Puerta Del Sol, two new Captures and more. There are also three new Gang Attacks in Chumash, East Vinewood and Mirror Park.

Parachuting Airwaves (Rank 15, 1-8 Players)
Students of style know that what comes up must go down. Drop 4,370 feet while imagining you're over all the bands you listen to on Radio Mirror Park, as you twist and turn sharply down to the pond below.

Race Beach Odyssey (Rank 15, 1-16 Players)
Nothing says artistic credibility like a grainy image of trash next to a burnt out RV, so get your butt off a nice beach, and go to a nasty one. This is a Point to Point Race for Sports Classics starting in Chumash, ending in Sandy Shore, mainly on-road with opportunities to hit top speed.

Race Before It Was Cool (Rank 15, 1-8 Players)
Any skinny jeans wearer will tell you, sometimes things just don't fit. Try and squeeze up to eight compact cars around the tight corners of this lap Race in Mirror Park.

Race Caffeine Rush (Rank 1, 1-8 Players)
If your friends caught you drinking anything except a flat white at an independent coffee house it would be social suicide, but when you need java, you need java. This is a Point to Point Sedan Race from Del Perro to Mirror Park passing by four 'Cool Beans' coffee shops.

Capture Contend: Condo-monium (Rank 1, 2-8 Players)
Make a statement about late capitalism or income equality or art or pointless statements or something by trashing condos in Puerto Del Sol. This is a Contend style Capture going for the last of the party supplies in the courtyard between two identical apartment blocks.

Last Team StandingEast Vinewood LTS (Rank 9, 2-16 Players)
They don't know how it started, maybe two girls got the same tattoo, or reposted a Snapmatic without giving photo credit. What they do know is sides have been chosen and East Vinewood's gone to hell in this two team Last Team Standing.

Race Embracing America (Rank 1, 1-8 Players)
All your friends are going East in search of the last un-gentrified patch of turf in the country, and you're heading West. Load up a so-uncool-it's-cool Sedan, and race toward Little Seoul. Lots of straights and a few tight turns at the end of this point to point track.

Capture GTA: Grab a Cab (Rank 1, 2-8 Players)
After twelve hours 'rolling' at your local post-industrial techno-house night, your tattooed friends will be too wide-eyed to drive themselves. Pick up some taxis for them in this two team GTA-style Capture based around the Downtown Cab Co depot in East Vinewood.

Race Hip to be Cool (Rank 1, 1-8 Players)
Because driving around Rockford Hills in nice cars is too mainstream, and going through Vespucci Beach in low riders is kinda yesterday... This Compact class Race takes you back and forth over the Los Santos Freeway and in and out of the Casino parking lot.

Survival Legion Square Survival (Rank 25, 1-4 Players)
Freedom of speech is dead as the cops crack down on Legion Square protesters. Battle the police on foot, in SUVs, and eventually in Buzzard helicopters. And remember that the real bad guys are the bankers looking down on the action from their office windows.

Team Deathmatch Puerta Del Sol (Rank 1, 2-8 Players)
Every artist wanted to die young, then they wanted to mock their predecessors with an ironic statement about dying young, now it's a post-ironic statement and they might end up actually dying.

Race Trend Setting (Rank 1, 1-16 Players)
A Lap circuit Race with muscle cars around Mirror Park for simple people who want to seem complicated.

There are also tons of tweaks and updates made to Grand Theft Auto Online as part of this update. A few notable ones include:

Ten existing GTAV vehicles have been added to the southernsanandreassuperautos.com website for purchase, including Story Mode characters' vehicles:
Albany Primo
BF Surfer
Bravado Buffalo
Franklin's Bravado Buffalo S
Bravado Youga
Cheval Picador
Dundreary Regina
Trevor's Karin Rebel (clean version)
Trevor's Nagasaki Hot Rod Blazer
Michael's Obey Tailgater
Pure Gold and Brushed Gold paint colors have been added to LS Customs in the 'Metals' category. These unlock at Rank 100.
A new Pure Black window tint has been added to LS Customs, along with four new jazzy vehicle horns (including one which loops and speeds up / slows down as you drive).
Eight new individual player celebrations and four new paired Celebration animations have been added.
Players will no longer be charged Insurance costs if their vehicle is destroyed by another player who does not have enough GTA$ to pay.
Fixed an issue where, if an insured Personal Vehicle was destroyed, both parties had to pay the insurance costs.
Fixed an issue where some four-wheel drive vehicles had reverted to two-wheel drive.
Players are now able to bookmark Jobs whilst in a Playlist from the Pause menu.
Tear Gas now does more damage and lasts longer.
A small tick has been added to the first screen in the corona if a player has played a Job before, much like in the pause menu or Next Job Voting Screen.
The level of difficulty is now displayed when pressing D-pad down when playing Missions.
This update also includes a host of other adjustments, game tuning and exploit fixes. For the complete list, please visit the Rockstar Support site. To download the "I'm Not a Hipster" Update, just boot up your online-connected PS3 or Xbox 360 and start GTAV. You'll be prompted to download the automatic update (1.14) and Xbox 360 players will also be required to download an additional compatibility pack upon entering GTA Online.

Stay tuned for details on future GTA Online content updates in the weeks to come - as well as info on the upcoming "I'm Not a Hipster" Event Weekend with lots of special additional bonuses and contests happening this Friday through Sunday.

New content released by Rockstar Games for GTA5. The theme is Independence Day. On Friday, this week it is the Independence Day for the United States of America. This time, they have pushed the weapons in another direction. You can get fireworks. Also the content has a big-ass monster truck.

http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52270/The-GTA-Online-Independence-Day-Special-Available-Starting

From Paleto Bay to the Port of Los Santos and everywhere in between, it's time to celebrate the birthplace of freedom with The Independence Day Special (in association with Ammu-Nation) for Grand Theft Auto Online.
Demonstrate your exceptionalism and own the road from sea to shining sea with two new star spangled rides, the Sovereign motorcycle and the super-sized Liberator monster truck. And protect your rights the same way our Founding Fathers did with the latest addition to Ammu-Nation's antiques collection, the high-powered Musket... or channel your inner Jack Howitzer with the spectacular Firework Rocket Launcher.

Seven new properties have also been added to the Dynasty 8 rolls, including locations in Paleto Bay and Vinewood Hills that provide plenty of yard space to scorch the grass with your very own Fireworks show. Use up to 12 varieties with different fuse lengths to create a spectacle that would make even the most battle-hardened Republican Space Ranger shed a tear. If you prefer rickety amusements operated by minimum wage teenage workers over incendiary lawn displays, then venture down to Pleasure Pier where you can now ride the Ferris Whale and the Leviathan Roller Coaster.
This limited-time update also features an overabundance of patriotic flare: show off nationalistic pride with a "Made in the U.S.A." t-shirt, a backwoods mullet or let the eagle soar with an animal mask featuring this great nation's most fearsome and majestic creatures.

For the duration of The Independence Day Special seasonal content period, Special Crate Drops will contain 6 different Beer Hats and an exclusive Statue Of Happiness t-shirt. Keep an eye out for messages about Crate Drops in your in-game feed and watch for the plane on the map in the pause menus to find the drop zone.

The Last Team Standing Update for GTA Online Now Available

http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52322/the-last-team-standing-update-for-gta-online-now-available

You've only got one life, use it wisely. The Last Team Standing Update introduces powerful weaponry, tactical gear, high-performance vehicles and all-new Creator features to celebrate Grand Theft Auto Online's most high stakes mode. Today's update features 10 new Last Team Standing Jobs spread out across Los Santos and Blaine County plus additional gameplay changes to allow for a greater range of game types and enhanced matchmaking.

Take enemies down with brutal force when you equip the new Heavy Shotgun.

isit Ammu-nation to expand your arsenal with a pair of potent new firearms: the Heavy Shotgun delivers serious stopping power in close quarters, and the Marksman Rifle can drop targets from long range with lethal accuracy. Plus, suit up your team with new Outfits, along with new Masks, Tops, Pants, Bulletproof Helmets and more.

Rule the road with two new Motorcycles – the s*** Hakuchou sport bike and the LCC Innovation chopper. Or, for those with more sophisticated tastes, show off your elite style in the fiery Lampadati Furore GT.

The Hakuchou and Innovation lead the Furore GT here on the Great Ocean Highway.

This update also presents the launch of the Last Team Standing Creator Mode. You can now design original GTA Online Jobs in this strategic and deadly mode that pits teams against one another with no second chances. This Creator update features a new option for building even more dynamic matches across other modes – with the ability to add Rounds to Captures and Last Team Standing Jobs. Or raise the stakes by adding rounds to Rockstar Created LTS, Captures and Versus Missions. And be sure to take advantage of the new Forced Weapon setting, allowing you to limit weapons for specific options like "Snipers-Only".

To help you get the most out of your Last Team Standing creations, we've prepared a handy how-to PDF guide that walks you through the process of making your own LTS Jobs.

All new tactical gear including bullet proof helmets are now available in shops.

Also part of today's automatic update, we've now globally synchronized the Job voting screens, allowing us to merge sessions where players have voted on the same Job. This, combined with the on-call matchmaking introduced in a previous update allows players to find the Jobs they like more easily, and to stay with as many like-minded players as possible. There are lots of additional changes and tweaks to GTA Online, all listed out in detail at the Rockstar Support site. These include the ability to now go on-call for activities like Arm-Wrestling, Darts or Golf or to quick match with your friends for those activities using the option in your phone, as well as an increase in the maximum bet limit from GTA$2,500 to GTA$10,000.

To download today's update, just switch on your online-connected PS3 or Xbox 360 and start GTAV. From there, you'll be prompted to download the automatic update (1.17).

Look for the details of our Last Team Standing Update Event Weekend to hit the Newswire later today, and stay tuned for more info on future updates to GTA Online. Below are more details and links to today's 10 new Last Team Standing Jobs.

Alta (Rank 16, 2-8 Players)
Less violent than the average apartment building residents' committee meeting, this cramped LTS pits two wings of a building against each other. Try to stay on the rooftops, and look for long-ranged attacks across the courtyard and close-quarters clashes on the footbridge.

Del Perro Freeway (Rank 23, 2-16 Players)
Draw a line in the sand with this Del Perro Beach LTS. Teams start at either end of the beachfront houses. They can go at each other directly or take the pedestrian bridges across the WH to pick up weapons. Dr. Friedlander isn't running his conflict resolution seminar this week.

Grand Banks (Rank 9, 3-12 Players)
As good a place as any to make a stand, three groups take the third way at the Grand Banks Steel foundry. Fight on the rooftops, in the tunnels, and along the gangways to be the only team that doesn't get to fulfil their death wish.

Hawick (Rank 16, 2-16 Players)
Two teams snipe each other from rooftops or get down and dirty in the alleys with shotguns until there's only one of them left. Hawick hasn't seen this many unfortunate accidents since speedballs were cool in the 80s.

Mount Josiah (Rank 29, 2-16 players)
When the dust settles, and the rivers stop running with blood, who'll be left on top of the second highest mountain in Southern San Andreas? Two teams fight to be king of the hill on the open, almost coverless slopes of Mount Josiah.

N.O.O.S.E. (Rank 9, 2-8 Players)
Something's happening behind the mysterious chain link fences, and non-descript 'government facility' signs off the Palomino Freeway. Two teams have taken time off from spying on personal communications to fight for supremacy on the rooftops, walkways, and parking lots of the N.O.O.S.E. facility. Look up for the best weapons.

Paleto Bay - Tanks (Rank 29, 2-16 Players)
Some places get all the luck. Two teams face off with tanks and explosives and don't mind if they turn the whole town to rubble. Who'll be left standing in what's left of Paleto Bay?

Skyscraper (Rank 36, 2-16 Players)
There's no escape from Los Santos. One team tries to hold out at the top of a skyscraper construction site armed only with sniper rifles and heavy weapons. The other team launches a four pronged assault in Buzzard attack helicopters.

Storm Drain (Rank 23, 2-16 Players)
Gang warfare's gotten really out of hand as two teams come at each other with tanks, motorbikes, and explosives in the concrete channel of the LS River. Try to stay in the storm drain, and don't worry about flash flooding, there's a drought in San Andreas after all.

Tataviam Truckstop (Rank 16, 2-8 Players)
Lonely truckers and enterprising hitchhikers are in for a scare as this pit stop on the Palomino sees its share of the action. Small scale LTS that'll make good use of the Heavy Shotgun.

Exclusive content on GTA V for the next-gen and PC has been confirmed by Rockstar Games. Exclusive content for the GTA V characters.
http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52337/details-on-exclusive-content-for-returning-gtav-players-on

Ever since we announced Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, some of you have been asking if there will be anything extra for those PS3 and Xbox 360 players who are planning on picking up the new versions. To reward loyal GTAV fans for coming back to the newer, more detailed version of Los Santos and Blaine County, we've created an array of exclusive items specifically for these players - with each of them connected to activities designed for you to experience the game's massive world in new and exciting ways. Here are some of the new items and activities that will be available for returning players:

The Dodo seaplane: It may take a little firepower to get your hands on this highly versatile GTA classic.

New Events & Rewards
Encounter new events happening all across the world, and complete the challenges they present to unlock exclusive new vehicles like the menacing Imponte Duke O'Death and that veritable GTA classic bird of flight, the Dodo seaplane.

The Imponte Duke O'Death: As you might expect, when you first stumble upon this near-indestructible mayhem machine, trouble will follow. Deal with it judiciously and this beauty's all yours.

As Michael, follow a trail of cryptic clues to unravel a grisly murder mystery.  Put the clues together and you'll unlock two Noir Style Filters, which will give your Story Mode gameplay and Snapmatic photos the feel of a gritty old school crime classic.

Get to the bottom of a murder mystery that strikes right at the heart of Los Santos' most cherished industry.

Weapons: The Rail Gun & Hatchet
Obliterate your adversaries with the high-powered, high-velocity Rail Gun. This piece of experimental military technology also has its own set of Shooting Range Challenges at your local Ammu-Nation shooting range. Or hack and slash foes up close and personal with the brutal Hatchet melee weapon.

The futuristic new Rail Gun unloads powerful rounds of explosive ammunition upon foes.

Wildlife Photography Challenge
There are new species of animals across Los Santos and Blaine County, and the LS Tourist Board needs someone to document them. As Franklin, catalog unique animal species scattered across the map to unlock the special Kraken Sub.

Completing the Wildlife Photography Challenge will unlock the Kraken Sub.

Stock Car Races
Win a series of new Stock Car Races to earn unique custom Muscle Cars adorned with logos from some of the companies that made this country great.

Finish first in the new Stock Car Races to earn new Muscle Cars.

Monkey Mosaics
A mysterious street artist is tagging walls all across town with his simian-inspired silhouettes. Track down and photograph them all to earn new monkey outfits (available to all players) and a special Go Go Monkey Blista exclusively for returning players.

Take to the skies in the faster and more maneuverable Xero Blimp.

New Vehicles and More
Grind up the Los Santos freeways (and over anybody in your path) with the Cheval Marshall monster truck and take to the skies in a faster and more maneuverable Blimp, compliments of Xero Gas.
There will also be a bounty of content for all players, new and returning, to discover - including a fleet of classic GTA vehicles and a few more surprises we've got planned that you'll have to discover for yourself come game day. And as previously announced, current GTA Online players on PS3 and Xbox 360 will be able to pick up where they left off, transferring their characters and progression seamlessly to their choice of PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC (Social Club membership required).

Few objects are an obstacle for the intimidating Cheval Marshall.

In addition, anyone who pre-orders the game will receive a bonus of GTA$1M ($500k for Story Mode and $500k for use in Grand Theft Auto Online). We've also received tons of great questions from excited fans about what's in store for the game. Below are some of the more frequent ones we've gotten that we're able to shed a little light on – and stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks. Remember, you can always send us your questions at [email protected], or shoot us a tweet at @RockstarGames. If you've got feedback about what you'd like to see in GTA Online specifically, don't hesitate to drop our dev team a line at [email protected].

What about the exclusive in-game content I originally received for purchasing the PS3 or Xbox 360 Special Edition or Collectors Edition last year? Will I be able to access that content on PS4, Xbox One or PC?
Yes, if you purchased the Special Edition or the Collector's Edition last year, when you upgrade to one of the new systems, you will automatically have those items unlocked and accessible. Those in-game bonuses include the Stunt Plane Trials, Bonus Outfits and Tattoos, and the Pistol .50, Bullpup Shotgun and melee Hammer all for Story Mode use; as well as the Custom Classic GTA Parent Characters and the high-end Khamelion electric car for GTA Online. Furthermore, if you missed out on your chance to buy a CE or SE the last time around, we will also make all of that content available for all players on PS4, Xbox One and PC to earn and acquire with in-game cash (original SE and CE owners will not have to spend any in-game cash to obtain them, they will automatically be accessible upon upgrade).

Can you only make the GTA Online character progress transfer once?
If I transfer my GTA Online character to the new systems, will I still be able to play with him/her on my PS3 or Xbox 360?
Yes, you will only be able to transfer your character once. After transferring your character to PS4, Xbox One or PC, you can continue playing with him/her on your PS3 or Xbox 360 but the progress you make while playing is not shared to the character you transferred to your new version.

Will PC players also receive the exclusive upgrade content like the Dodo and Dukes?
Yes indeed! The content detailed above will be available to returning players on all three new platforms.

Will any of these updates being made for the new systems be also made available for the previous generation of consoles?
The vastly enhanced graphics and many other gameplay updates on the new versions of Grand Theft Auto V are really only made possible by virtue of the powerful new hardware of the new consoles and PC. Some of the other updates such as the upgrade content detailed above are being designed exclusively as a reward for returning players so those will not be released on the previous versions; however do stay tuned for more updates to be made available for Grand Theft Auto Online across all platforms and we'll have more information on that soon.

Will my created Jobs transfer over to the new systems?
Yes, any Jobs you've published in GTA Online using the Creator tool will transfer over so that you and others can continue playing them on the new platforms. Please be aware however that Leaderboards, Snapmatics, Playlists and bookmarks are unique to the console generation you made them on so those will not carry over. (GTAV photographers should get ready to take all-new high-res Snapmatics!)

Will 30-person GTA Online sessions include competitive modes such as Races and Deathmatches?
Yes, they will! GTA Online on the new systems will support 30 players not just in Free Roam but in competitive modes as well (unless of course the Job you're playing has been designed to be set to a specifically lower player max). We look forward to seeing what unique matches the community can create for a vastly increased number of players.

We know there's many other questions players have about the new releases as well so please stay tuned for more information to come in the weeks ahead.

First-Person Mode coming to current gen-consoles PS4, Xbox One and PC

http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52341/gtav-ign-delivers-new-details-first-person-experience

http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52342/gtav-ps3-to-ps4-comparison-video-new-ign-feature-interview

With exactly two weeks to go until launch, IGN spent some time with the new version of Grand Theft Auto V, including the all-new First Person Mode. Exclusive to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of Grand Theft Auto V, this new mode gives players the chance to explore the world of Los Santos and Blaine County directly through the eyes of their character, revealing all the world's glorious details in an entirely new way. For more details about First Person Mode, check out the first of IGN's 3 exclusive feature stories this week. Here's a sampling:

"There's so much new about this version Grand Theft Auto V, but it's obvious Rockstar was keen to deliver something above and beyond a technical upgrade – it's given players an entirely new way of playing the game. From shooters to action games, we're all used to adopting the first-person, but the way in which this new perspective transforms the GTA 5 experience can't be understated; it fundamentally alters how you inhabit and interact with this world. It rewrites the experience."

Available in both GTAV and GTA Online, we've made a host of changes to accommodate this new perspective, including the creation of an optional first person cover system, a new targeting system, a more traditional FPS control scheme, and integrating thousands of new animations into the existing game. It's also available at the touch of a button so you can easily switch back and forth between perspectives.

Alongside the new First Person mode, Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC features hundreds of additions and enhancements including 1080p resolution at 30FPS on PS4 and Xbox One (4K compatible on PC).

Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC has given us the chance to harness the power of these platforms to improve every aspect of the game. In addition to the all-new First Person Mode revealed yesterday, this means big technical changes like increasing the overall resolution and more than doubling the draw distance, as well as replacing every texture in the game and much more.

To see just how far the game has come in its transition to these new versions, check out the PS3 to PS4 Comparison video above. And be sure to head over to IGN today for more details and an exclusive interview that explains many of the key upgrades and the challenge of creating these new, enhanced versions of GTAV:

"As good-looking as GTA V is on PS3 and Xbox 360, and as alive as it feels, this is something else entirely. This isn't GTA peeking its head into the new generation; this is GTA kicking down the door and cartwheeling directly into the epicentre of the party, much to the envy of those who just spent the last 12 months warming up over by the crackers and dip. It's beautiful, it's denser than ever, and I've barely scratched the surface. This is GTA V on a current generation console; the PS4, to be specific. This is not simply GTA V upscaled; that much is already clear. This is GTA V upgraded, on every level."
