i love halo. they olny game of the franchise that i didnt like was halo wars. that game was slightly over hyped.

Agreed. I'm sad that halo reach will be the last installation from bungie. They are giving the rights to Microsoft. Let's hope they continue the franchise and MAKE A GODDAMN MOVIE ALREADY.

I liked the first halo alot, even though the graphics were suckey but it was made a while ago,
i got halo 2, a few years back and went "really?" the graphics could have been SO much better, then the story did a turn around wtf effect with MORE FLOOD
then when i got my xbox i got halo 3 im like ughh might as well find out what happens.
didnt like the damage system, there was like 2 shotguns in the entire game, and was only fun being the arbiter.
havent been bothered to play halo wars, because we want FPS not tactical games, unless its non-haloey
played ODST and im like...no master cheif?
but i am hoping that reach will turn it around, and leave it on a positive for me.
and i really want the movie out soon...

lol.. then you can't have played alot. there are weapons hidden everywhere. theres snipers for example, everywhere. you'll get a new one before the other ones out

Nobody. Halo 3 officially concluded the story arc. Making a Halo 4 would make Bungie and Microsoft look like liars.

... Which is why they went with the prequel approach for Halo: Reach.

(legendary ending) he survives and goes into cryo. and the you see a ghostly planet in the background. i heard the a fourth game would take place on this world and the it probably is one of the forerunners shieldworlds. like the one on the planet Onyx where a spartan team plus Dr.Halsey and CPO Mendez gets trapped.

The whole point of that sequence was to show that the Chief was still alive, and to give people a bit of a reward for sitting through the entire credits. That's really the only reason.

i think that it is the same sheild world that Dr. H is trapped in. logicaly, when John blew up the ark, maybe the slipspace bubble holding the shield in stasis shutdown and expanded.

Well nobody really knows for sure what planet that is. It isn't Onyx, since Onyx literally disassembled itself into trillions of hostile Sentinels after the events of the novel.

It could be another Shield World though. The Forerunners had a pretty elaborate plan, after all.....

yeah. it shouldn't be Onyx, since Master chief and cortana didn't leave the place the Ark. and since the ark was a long way of the milky way, and Onyx was/is in the milky way. but probably a shield world in close proximity of the ark so that the forerunners could have time to get there. anyway, I found it hard belive that the "game"story is over

Many people reckon it is Mars from the MARATHON games. Sure looks like it anyway. The rift was a portal, not through space, but time.
