Looks like a lot of fun! Hopefully they get to add more as the game continues to develop.

It is alot of fun and you can much fun in the demo! I've said to myself, if I ever get myself to the moon on Kerbal Space Program, I will buy it... But so far no luck...

Kerbal Space Program - #068 - Tutorial: Beginner Rocket & Launch

You can build more than rockets. You can build your own space shuttle and space stations and rovers and all you want, but then you need to have some add-ons, or maybe you will create your own add-on.

A rocket prototype i have made to carry a space capsule. I am now making my own space program in Kerbal Space Program. This launch will be unmanned, but have added so it will be remoteable. Just remember that, if you will launch something unmanned. Remember to add a system, so it is remoteable, or you can't control it at all. But i have still a lot to learn for how to build a rocket, and something that is bigger than this. I am a beginner of this, but i am learning.

Rocket on the Launch Pad. Ready for liftoff!!! Test 1 of a prototype rocket that might be the carrier of a space capsule to the Kerban Space Federation.

Engines are running!!!

And liftoff!!!

Rocket still climbing altitude!!! What i call a perfect launch.

Still climbing higher.

What a loving piece of rocket. This is the best i have ever made in Kerbal Space Program. Wonder how it will handle a space capsule.

About to soon enter the altitude of space. About to enter orbit, after that.

Dropping the launch boosters

Successfully entering orbital altitude

The last small piece of the rocket, final stage, will be sent down again, splash it down in the water to prevent any collision with space junk when i am launching other nasty s***. If we think the reality, the pieces that will be splashed down, will be taken up from the ocean. They will after be equiped with a parachute.

Here is the future rocket launch of a space capsule to the Kerban Space Federation

I didn't had enough fuel to control the rocket more. Couldn't do the last separation. What if i add more fuel to the rocket boosters, would that help? Or maybe add some more fuel tanks to the next separation after the rocket boosters?

My first astronauts in orbit around Kerman. What a great achievement for the Kerbal Space Federation. Mission successfull :) The orbit isn't perfectly round but it is at least an orbit. Finally.

This looks like seriously time-consuming fun! I wonder if it can be made to run on a Red Hat-based Linux distribution (RedHat/Fedora/CentOS)?

The really interesting thing is that there are now opportunities for people to build real spacecraft that can be placed into orbit, and be affordable to a serious hobbyist!

IIRC, it runs on .NET, so it might (potentially) work in Mono. (But probably not.)

Have started a new space program in Kerbal Space Program called, Kerbal Planetary Space Organization(KPSO).
This image is below is a view of my first communication satellite, set to be launched into orbit. It is equipped with a lot of science instruments.
