I'm sure it'll be a high quality game, but man I've had enough of all the COD games being released yearly. Plus it seems that modern warfare style games are the new WWII games. They're a dime a dozen.

I suppose this year I should finally play World at War. The last COD game I purchased was the original Modern Warfare.

Except that the Call of Duty series have been loosing quality with every game since the first...

Except Black Ops, which was better than MW2, but not really better than CoD4..

But I heard a friend of mine saying that he read somewhere that it will be released in March 2012 and that it is a prequel.....

I heard it isn't being made by IW, which wil be good. Cod4 was great, it was the first one I had but then IW f*cked up MW2. Generally treyarch makes better games than IW but I'd say Blops and 4 are equal.

I'm hoping they'll make the multiplayer similar to Blops, with the behind the scenes stuff that prevents quickscoping and other noobish crap, and with all the customization.

Thats interesting. Most people say IW makes the better COD games. To each their own, right?

I started playing COD at it's second entry because it was a 360 launch title. I remember thinking those graphics were amazing. For me COD 3 was a huge improvement in every way and Modern Warfare 1 made the first two look like bad games it was so good. I guess you really can have too much of a good thing because I haven't played any COD games since. Part of that is because I really don't like many of the things Activision does. They don't even try to hide the fact  that they're just in it for money.

Totally agree, the series getting more and more worst with the time. Now COD series are more Online Gaming than Singleplayer.

Activison can eat my bankrupt account ... what can u expect from this DLC for all game now, Map Pack, Unlockable kit and more stuff
all is for money !!! Event Portal 2 have DLC $$$

I'm not saying that it's anything wrong with Online Gaming, the problem is that in CoD4 they threw a lot of weapons into a single game, which in the end favored players that had played the game long enough to unlock everything. This got even worse with MW2, where all aspects of weapon balance vanished. This also got even worse if you look how the network programming worked, in the end too many encounters was pure luck since the network code was designed to work with 500-2000ms lag and disguise it to the player.

Yea, I got the date, 08 - 11 -11 or for ppl in America 11 - 08 - 11. Just got an e-mail from Game Mania, that I could pre-order, the box didn't had a IW logo on it, only Activision.

You'll play as a Russian 'Federal Protective Service', a British S.A.S. agent and an AC-130 gunner. It will take place in, a Russian invasion New York and a terrorist attack in London and will end with a bang with the final confrontation in Dubai.

Multiplayer contains new maps, new weapons, the popular SpecOps and a brand new survival mode...

So long as it has a lengthy single player which is able to come close to the blistering action shown in that trailer I'm fine. I don't need a good story and I don't need the multiplayer.

This will not.... MW2 on my first try ( recruit ) I played it in just 6 hours, Veteran less then 10.... Black Ops first try ( recruit ) took me about 7 hours. A month later ( I played Blops the first week then stopped for 3 weeks ) I tried it on Veteran, completed it under 8 hours..
